This is quite unfortunate for residents and commuters. Taxes are not working to alleviate the condition of the people. The flooding problem has been existing for decades but poor commuters are still wading in the flood.

Combination of climate change, LGU failures to comply with RA9003, lack of zoning laws and its enforcement rapid urban development etc.. the cleaning of Pasig river is a good start tho’. The national leadership is doing its best but it cannot do it alone.

Madami nagsasabi na it's because of corruption. Mga ate at kuya, kahit anong ganda pa ng infrastructure ng isang bansa ay hinding hindi mo maiiwasan ang pagbaha lalo na sa tuloy tuloy na malakas na pag-ulan. Oo maiiwasan ang baha sa saglitang malakas na ulan. Tignan mo nga South Korea kahit 1st world country sila at kahit anong ganda pa ng infrastructure nila against flooding, bumabaha pa rin sa kanilang bansa especially sa Seoul (Capital City ng South Korea). Also, Metro Manila is a natural low land area which means babaha at babaha talaga dito kahit anong gawin natin, it is just like South Korea and other parts in the US, Japan, China and Europe.

We should stop blaming the government. First ang mga filipino sana huwag tapos ng tapon ng basura kung saan saan, 2nd isipin mabuti at pag aralan kung paano mag prevent ang flood. Kahit mahirap tayo. Atleast naman huwag magtapon ng basura sa ilog, dagat, at magputol ng puno. Gold mining din isa din yan.

Wag nyo isisi sa heavy rain yan. Kung jan inilagay ang tax namin at yan talaga ang inatupag e di hindi na sana ganyan. gaya na lang yang pagkain nyo nung sona, 20M ba naman hahahah.
