On the way out west Jor-Dan and I did some exploration missions that just didn't quite pan out. So, we went where they were biting. After a night of storms and camping in a wet azz tent we crawled down he hill into the canal of glory. This time, really hoping to poke a flathead on a live bait.

I’m in the PNW. Something my dad used to do when sturgeon fishing was to use a lighter line when tying in the weight. That way when the weight inevitably snagged, it would break off without loosing the set up. Also, he was a logger, so he used old log truck lug nuts as weight.

I would say its time to start branching out on the species you target if you want to bring in more viewers... Now don't get me wrong the trash fish missions are stashtastic and i always enjoy your asinine escapades, but would it kill a guy to maybe twist the stash up a bit and do some trout fishing ? I myself love any type of fishing but there is something about trout fishing that just gets my stash stiff and there is nothing better than smashing beautiful hoggish trout or filling the stringer with beautiful brook trout.
