I was a full time truck driver (Local) hauling petroleum grossed about 107,000 LBS. Now I'm an engineer at a desk. I still haul on Saturdays part time, NOT hazmat anymore. Just haul for farmers (a custom harvesting company) hauling green beans from the fields to the processing plant. They have and 18 spd Western Star with the Mercedes engine, we haul at about 106- 107,000 lbs. I'm excited for Saturdays so that I can get back out there a do some hauling. Stay safe bro!! Fellow trucker here. Brother you are a beast. Just yesterday my tail swing crushed a minivan in Lakewood NJ. First accident ever in the last 5 years. I run otr by the way. The East coast cities are no joke. Any tips for driving a big'ol semi like you do in NYC.
