While obviously not as good as the Zabuza arc this is a decent first mission for new team 7. I like the emphasis on Boruto and his attitude and lessons he needs to learn. That's something early Boruto does a lot, emphasize a flaw of his and then work to develop and fix it. This sadly backfired with many people like these kind of stories always do because a lot of people just see the character flaw and ignore the growth and overcoming of said flaw. This exact thing happens in any show, game of film with a flawed protagonist trying to tell such a story.
