Both the teach and the playthrough are awesome; but I really love the after game talkthrough. Both on the strategy and a bit of a review. Seriously this is just great content. Consider me another patreon patron!

We REALLY appreciate the feedback, Jeff. Thank you for that and for the support! Yay! :) We thought that this mix of content (teaching, playthrough, and the post-game discussion) is something that no one else is really doing (esp. when it comes to the heavier side of the hobby) and may make for interesting content. Glad to hear that we seem to be hitting the mark. Just dialing in the tech side of stuff and we're on our way! Thank you again.

@2:57:50, Mani from Ice Age - I mean sweater Mike says it ticks all his boxes except for one thing.. What is the one thing? I don't think he got to explain that.

Great work guys. Thanks. One bit of feedback....differing sound levels means turning volume up and down constantly. But still...thank you.

Thank you for that - we'll get it all figured out! :) -A

45 minutes in, it is funny to watch you agonize over the same kind of decision that I often agonize over. This is one of my favorite games.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one! :) Thanks for watching and chiming in, Jackanapes7!

1:08:25 You forgot to put the round card on the ships. So, you played 21 rounds instead of 20, giving Edward 1 less actions than the rest.

Just watched this play through, and at the 2:48:15 mark, when Mike wanted to use the shipping line for his final action, he could have sold his least valuable building to get the franc needed to be able to use the shipping line. I'm saying least valuable as you only get half the value of the building in cash back.

Yup, Steve actually made note of that a few months back. Sometimes, when on the live-streams, we're definitely not going to think 100% as clear as when not and this was one of those times, heh. Thanks for watching!

Can I ask where you purchased the trays you have on the game board?

As far as point salad games go I love this one. I am a big Stefan Feld fan but never got into Agricola for thematic reasons I guess. Le Havre and Feast for Odin are the two Rosenberg games I own, and the latter is a beast that's hard to get to the table. I think if Le Havre and Bruges were to have a cage match Bruges would get the belt though. Great playthough. :)

2:49:10 Oh no! He could have sold any building at all, to get money to then go ship his goods!

I’m new, but ive been watching videos.. and for some reason, i like this one more. Maybe the way it works, maybe the team. I got the app discounted, $1 for ipad. The board is expensive though (amazon)

good video but i have a question: in the rules it s a bit misleading.let s say a wood ship at thebshipping line can ship 2 tokens total, or all tokens from 2 different types of good. i think it s option 1 but the way it is in the rulebook is weird. best good game
@vexingarcanix957 жыл бұрын
Wooden ships can ship two goods total, not two of each good.

heavy cardboard, if you like a comment on how to imrpove your gameplay, here it comes: you chose to take 2 iron instead of 4 different resources on marketplace is a loss of efficiensy in terms of actions. 1 less steel for 3 other resources including the cost of a money point or 2 food, is better. try working that marketplace tactic, it can do wonders. trust me. also, to turn in 3 cattle for 1 hide at the cost of 2 moneypoints is horrendous for your endgame points. try to think it terms long term efficiency. you are way to scared of loans.
@The7yph00n3 жыл бұрын
guys, its bad business to turn cattle to meat, its better to just ship it, for points. 3 points is much better than 3 food / cattle.not to mention that you are wasting an action turning it to meat. food doesnt make you win. your engine, does. engine is shipping, and collecting alot of resources, which ever they are. you THEN pay off your loans, with they money you got from shipping, including taking buildings that you need, first.
@The7yph00n3 жыл бұрын
the hides tactic included in the reply i might get isnt viable money nor actionwise in any way shape or form i might add. becase your alternative of shipping, is always, always better.
