Fun fact about Kris Kristofferson, started adulthood as an army ranger and became a pilot and then trained pilots to go fight in the Vietnam War cause he was too good toet go and then started the outlaw country music scene in the 70's and happened to be a badass actor so for the Cult to honor him is legend and BTW, he is probably most loved in the music industry for his song writing which is probably why they honored him like that at this concert which is badass. WOW, that sounds fantastic. An oldschool band in the most classic sense of the word: tube amplifiers, microphoned guitar cabinets (you see this less and less these days), 100% live drums (those two-four beats!), fantastic musicians and Ian also sang at a high level - also 100% live. I had a freaky GF that introduced me to them at 14 😅Plus, songs like Fire Woman were always on MTV early 90's. Glad to see they're still rockin it solid. I'd go see them, in fact I think I saw an upcoming show around my area soon. Fire Woman was fire! That's awesome that it seems he realizes he can't hit the chorus anymore, honorable that he is humble about it and doesn't try to....unlike some other bands from this period. 🤣 axl.... Holy crap...I totally forgot She Sells Sanctuary for like 20 years. What a great song!
