I have Avant but I don't enjoy it. This seems like it has better patches. The sounds are pleasant and interesting. Maybe we are just witnessing Heavyocity getting better at their craft in real-time

I really enjoy Avant, especially the driving grittier rhythm sounds, and the lofi stuff. Aspire also impressed me and is very interesting. Heavyocity is definitely getting better..!

Do you have control over the mic placement of the piano? Close, room etc.

In a way yes. You have different recordings of Mix, Close, Room, and ppp for Natural and Felted sounds. You can then place these in the triangle corners, and then mix your own balance. But it doesn't have like at typical mic balance mixer window. Thanks for watching!
