Simeon, you know what struck me? You are one of the few musicians I know that actually opens an orchestral library, picks a preset or multi and then starts to PLAY the instrument. In an actual MUSICAL way. Anyway… lovely playthrough. Very cool library it seems!
@PraiseTracks3 жыл бұрын
Thanks my friend. Each sound has a seed of a melody, an emotion, something inherent in its structure that resonates in different places and the result is what comes out as I play, I just sort of follow the musical breadcrumbs. Another thing I try to do is try and find the light inside of a potentially dark library which is sometimes a challenge but so worth it in the process of discovery.

This reminds me of my Korg KROSS 88 and its Combi mode. It will play rhythms and basses in the left hand and strings/choirs in the right with a variety of combinations. It was fun to play around with for inspiration. Symphonic Destruction of course has way more versatility though. Symphonic Destruction may be my next purchase.

Truly beautiful performance throughout. Honestly, the only channel I've found where the presenter is so fluidly in and with the music and the instrument. What a continuous pleasure, thrill, and inspiration to witness and experience such true craftsmanship and love of the craft. The end was the icing on the cake and the surprise pudding inside. Just subscribed and can't wait to explore and learn from all the goodies here I have yet to discover. Thank you for sharing your talents, wisdom, and love. We all send more back in return.

Hi Simeon thanks for the great content! I'm a former touring musician and I'm trying to get a scoring portfolio together. I'm debating between buying Symphonic Destruction, Gravity, Damage 2 and Aeon...I know they're all different but if you had a gun pointed at you which Heavyocity would you pick for your wheelhouse. I have a lot of great libraries from Spitfire (Abbey Road, BBC collection, Bernard Herman, Olafur, Polaris, Hammers for drums by Charlie Clouser) Thanks!
@PraiseTracks Жыл бұрын
So I would highly recommend Damage 2 as it is so unique in the way Heavyocity has presented these hard hitting (forgive the pun) sounds, imagine being able to play a dumpster! Symphonic Destruction also comes at the traditional orchestra with a different spin as only Heavyocity can bring. I say this all the time but developers have a sonic DNA, a signature, a fingerprint that is infused into the instruments they produce, it is that sound that can add that extra “something”. Thanks so much for watching along with the encouraging words, they are wind in my sails. Joyfully yours!

@Simeon Amburgey - i never had an answer to this question by anyone who preview lib's ... if i load this into my kontakt 7 in FL21 im willing to bet the new purchased lisence to Heavyocity Symphonic Destruction that its not gonna sound like this! .. can you share any FX you have on output / signal channel ? ;D
@PraiseTracks Жыл бұрын
Espen, I always make it a practice never to add any additional effects to any instrument library that I feature on the channel. I want you to hear the raw out of the box sound to make sure you are hearing it as it was intended. Sometimes during a playthrough I will add something like Blackhole, Shimmerverb, or experiment, but I will always point it out in the video. The only effects living on the output bus is Waves Playlist Rider and Waves WLM level meter to help me manage the master audio output. Thanks for watching, it is great to have you here. Joyfully!

Is it possible to use these sounds and make my own sound design stuff and sell on sights like let’s say Pond5, AudioJungle, etc??
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
That is a great question. You would not be able to do something like this as it violates the terms of the license agreement. Here is a clip from the website: The usage of Heavyocity products (in particular samples, instruments and presets) for the creation of a sound library or as a sound library for any kind of synthesizer, virtual instrument, sample library, sample-based product or other musical instrument is strictly prohibited. Individual samples, sound sets or audio loops may not be distributed (commercially or otherwise) standalone. You can read the complete license agreement here: heavyocity.com/support/license-agreement/
