rakeem I just read up on it. It wasn’t that they cut his check. I guess they lied to him about the fight being televised. He said when he asked they said it’s not televised and so he signed it. He said he would made a counter. Then he said he requested a signed contract back from them but they never gave it to him. A couple things about the flight for his family but he said in the ring he saw the guy he felt was screwing him in his opponents corner and he was like f this. This is not a black-and-white issue it's a promoter and fighter issue. She like this is been going on for a very long time Don King is a crook and so are other promoters. They need to do something about promoters and the way they pick fights and shit in boxing. The promoters have all the power and sometimes you'll never get to even see a fight that you've been wanting to see because the promoters will avoid marketing a fight that they think their fighter might lose or whatever other reason they have to not do it. it was definitely a pay dispute but the "80%" figure could be inaccurate as I too haven't heard confirmation on the details. Most likely somebody on the internet said "80%" and then everybody else started preaching it like gospel. These days a "fact" is not necessarily a fact.
