Thanks so much for watching! Heavyweight's been my favorite podcast for years now so it was so fun having an excuse to dive back in. Storytelling like this always makes feel a little closer to the world

This is one of my favorite podcasts and I’ve been listening to it the entire time I’ve lived out of a van for the last 7 years and hopping back and forth between Oregon and Colorado nearly once a year. I’ve had the rearview mirror feeling with this show as the soundtrack nearly a dozen times now on the side of the road in Wyoming, including an unexpected relocation in May 2020. And a tear-jerking episode to listen to outside of a doctor’s office while having a cancer diagnosis confirmed. I do love his humor as well and I highly recommend his old show Wiretap. I found it to be hilarious while somehow sneaking in some very moving dramatic bits.

Lovely. You nailed it. Now there is a trilogy - Heavy weight, sun in an empty room, and your thing. Thanks.

Ahhh I like this one. The personal intro is such a great touch that I’d like to see in more of your essays. It reminds me of another video essay I’ve seen (I wish I could remember what video it was) where in the middle of analyzing some album the commentator just went on a really deep personal tangent about driving in the rain as a child. I’m gonna check this podcast out for sure
