This methodology to learn Hebrew is a breath of fresh air for me. After all the lessons until now, we're now able to listen a summarized story of David and Goliath in Hebrew! That's breathtaking!

Every show is better than the previous and all are in a circle of perfection! Today, Beth your performance - acting out the story of David and Goliath all by yourself - was outstanding!!! When I saw Goliath, I thought: "That looks like pot", and I laughed so hard the moment Goliath fell and hit the ground (and we saw the handle)! 😄 You both are so cool! You bring joy into people's lives! Thank you so much for teaching us Hebrew in such a literally unforgettable way!

Esse canal é ótimo para aprender hebraico e ainda aprender como proteger a cabeça com uma panela. A professora é muito simpática e tem muita didática. Até eu estou aprendendo a ler em hebraico. Claro que muito lentamente, mas já é um bom começo.

That sauce pan event is wonderful. Two points hilight the care and planning behind these lessons . The timely introduction of the 3MP form m of 'to give' shows the creful planning. The handle of the saucepan is noticed just at last and up to that moment I did not realise that it was a saucepan wonderful program; WONDERFUL MINISTRY; God bless

Generic question, what determines the vowel pointing for initial vav? I can’t deduce the rules.
@AlephwithBeth2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Roger! Welcome! You may wish to look up our grammar lessons that discuss the rules for the vav: - Lesson 3 (the conjuction -ו) - Lesson 22 (vayyiqtol verbs) docs.google.com/document/d/1YOqzlPQasM8BSLMSKVKvdV-1NUZMnAIg5Mic2C20a98/edit For first person vayyiqtol, the א cannot take a dagesh forte, so the pathach under the ו lengthens to qamets (eg, וָאֵלֵ֫ךְ).

Suelo usar el Reader's Hebrew Bible pero no sé qué tan útil sea para los hispanohablantes. Otro muy recomendable siempre es la Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia. Aunque realmente cualquiera que tenga letra clara le va a servir bien 😉 El texto mismo no difiere entre ediciones, solo las ayudas y el formato.
