First Azir Irelia game really showed everything wrong with the deck.

Second one too. Opponent had the worst possible hand, Mogwai the highest possible roll on Remembrance and it was still very close.

@@MrFabrilol Actually his opponent missplayed. He technically played a 2/1 heal my opponent for 4 for no reason. If you watch closely next turn he was 4 of lethal(the 2/1 did not do anything significant for the rest of the game). In general in all 3 games the azir irelia players missplayed. In the fist game the azir irelia player had lethal one turn earlier, if he had attacked with azir too, but he did not find that. The third azir player used the 3/1 buff pointlessly(granted I think it was impossible to win the game from there). Here we can obviously see bad players(at least the first 2), who ride a very powerful deck. As my rule goes, if you win a lot while playing a deck and at the same time you make 100 mistakes, most likely the deck is really powerful.

Yeah it's really a mistery how this deck fell in popularity after the Grand Plaza nerf, counting that Ephemerals and Grizzled Rangers don't care about the extra health anyway. That it is not played in the current meta is more understandable, since Azir Irelia (and Lucian Azir before it) do basically the same thing but better.

I feel like the metas after it’s nerfs where brutal for this deck, between thresh nasus, TF/fizz, and irelia it has really struggled... perhaps once nasus and irelia are knocked down a peg it can find better footing.
