Hecklenker Testfahrt

Eine Testfahrt auf dem hinterradgelenkten Fahrgestell des kleinen Schwarzen. Für meine Größe ist das Fahrgestell natürlich deutlich zu klein. Man sieht, dass die Lenkung absolut ruhig und stabil ist. Wir versuchen in nächster Zeit noch ein Video bei höherer Geschwindigkeit zu machen, ist aber nicht so einfach für den Kameramann wenn er gleichzeitig die Kamera ruhig halten und schnell Rad fahren soll.

Hi there! Very Thanks for Sharing :) What I Appreciate The Most is the fact that the Front Wheels are not// larger than the body which I guess make it less than 80 cm wide, and so Allows to Ride on Only Bike Paths :D (y) (y) (y) I like also the Minimalist Style ^_^

This trike was not constucted on the drawing board or CAD. I just sat down in the middle of the garage, put the wheels and the crankshaft around me as close as possible and welded some tubing to connect everything in place. So I still have to draw the plans.

Einsame Spitze! Da würd ich auf dem Aufrechten aber nicht so lang mithalten. Wie macht es sich denn in scharfen Kurven?

Bei nur 44cm Spurbreite sind scharfe Kurven bei hoher Geschwindigkeit tunlichst zu vermeiden, sonst gibts eine Rolle seitwärts. Vor allem mit zu großem Fahrer und entsprechend zu hohem Schwerpunkt. Die Hecklenkung hätte sonst kein Problem damit.

44cm sind natürlich der Wahnsin bei einem Tadpole! Ich nehme an als hohe Geschwindigkeit zählt schon die hier demonstrierten 30 km/h? Wenn das nur durch die Kippanfälligkeit beschränkt ist bin ich jedenfalls hin und weg von der Hecklenkung. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass das machbar ist. Ginge das vlt ein Video von der Reaktion des Gegengewichts bei Fahrt hochzuladen? Mich würde interessieren wie das so aussieht, wenn es auf die Fliehkräfte reagiert ... The rear wheel needs to be on a fork. It would lean as well as steer smoothly.

And deflate the inside front tire in a turn..........and gimble the seat so that the rider is permanently erect, no matter what the tricycle does.......but that's all the secret techniques I care to divulge.
