In Germany the police have one or two MP5 in their patrol cars. In one state now the police replaced the MP5 with a HK 437 in 300BLK. They also had the MCX in 5.56 but this get also replaced by the HK437. The thought behind it that a SBR in 300BLK can replace both guns.

Love the Magnum, PI pics in the background. Magnum was one of, if not my absolute favorite ‘80’s TV shows growing up.

It looks like the MP7s long lost, brother’s, sister’s, cousin’s, aunt’s, great grandfather’s, roommate twice removed.

I could see this project being brought to life again by the 3D printing community. It’s a little bit large for most printers, but that hasn’t stopped them before from finding a way. It would be really cool to see the internals of how the PIP was to function.

Blessed Saturday Morning Sir! In my day, we had Gladys Knight and the Pips..... how times have changed! No matter what, I will always appreciate my time behind the MP5 and now, better than nothing, the SP5. Thanks and Blessings!

Obviously this PIP version couldn't go anywhere as it won't allow the HK slap any longer 🤣 As always, awesome presentation and information.

I would love to see H&K come out with the SMG1 or SMG2. Looks like an mp5 and a B&T apc9 made sweet sexy love and gave birth to a badass. I'm wanting to try doing a build with mp5 aftermarket parts and see if I can make something similar to it. It'll be difficult but I think it would be so awesome. I would like to begin by experimenting with a mp5sd clone and see if I can make a lever and tank to turn on and off the gas bleed off from the barrel.

Any chance to see 300 blk HK guns?(237, 337, 437)?
@teufelshundtactical2 жыл бұрын
I already did a video on the 436, you can check out. The other models have not been brought into the US for me the film yet. Will see about those when we get to Germany later this year.

I have an SP5, and a PDW. and by no means am I an HK expert, but I have always been curious to know why, there is no last round bolt hold open on these guns?
@teufelshundtactical2 жыл бұрын
The MP5 design predates the bolt hold open device as it has become the industry standard that it is today. When H&K responded to the FBI contract request for a 10mm MP5, one of the requirements was a BHO. With the size of that order and already have to modify the design slightly for that larger caliber, they incorporated it into what would become the MP5/10 and MP5/40, but there was never a similar requirement for them to go back and make similar changes to the MP5, especially since they were also already at work developing what was supposed to replace the MP5, the UMP (which has a BHO).

Looks like a blend of the MP5, MP7, UMP, and G36. But I don't think that particular combination would have worked as well.

This new camera is horrendous
@teufelshundtactical2 жыл бұрын
I’m glad that with all of the information provided, that is your takeaway. But, to respond directly to that comment, it is not the camera, it is the latest edition of Adobe Premier which takes a perfectly normal video on import and on export screws up the color and exposure, forcing you to go back to editing and screw around for hours with all sorts of color options to try and make it look normal again. As it is clear that all of this tech is new to me, after midnight last night, I decided that this was the best I was going to be able to do at this time. Much learning still needs to occur on my end though.
