In 1972 I was a young 22 years old mexican guy living in Huntington Park California and I used take this girl Joan Quijano every friday night to a mexican restaurant on Pacific Blvd with the name La Reyna and they had a juke box three songs for a dollar Suavecito it was a must the other two songs rancheras a year later we became husband and wife we had a very pretty girl with the name Amy four years ago my wife went to heaven Joan I know you are with God And let me send you your song SUAVECITO I don't have to ask you if you like it cause I know the answer

@@maloband6284 Thank you for the nice reply, I have been a fan since the beginning and am still deeply hurt by the members Arcelio and Jorge's passing. I saw Malo a few times in the 70's and they had a huge following in the Puerto Rican neighborhoods of NYC just like Santana, going to their shows brought out a mix of all races getting high and dancing. This new band is hot and fresh and carries the spirit well, I'm not familiar with this guitarist but he's an excellent replacement for Jorge. Best to you and hope to see you again one day to say thanks in person!
