This song brings back the most precious memories in my life. Every Sunday my family would go to my grandma's house to spend the day with each other, huge backyard where my cousins and I had a blast playing while our TIa's and Tio's play cards and barbecuing while listening to oldies til it was time to go home. Malo, War, Average White Band, Aaron Neville, Brenda and the Tabulations, Paul Anka and you get the picture. 🎶❤🍻

@theczar3290 Жыл бұрын
Agreed. Hate to say, but technology really really has been detrimental to society and music, especially. People had to actually make not only an effort to learning to play an instrument but get their sound out. Phones and social media make it easy to even those who are naturally talented, they just want to make put out a video of them singing on tiktok, instead of joining groups and trying to make it or get their sound out.

+Art Alcatraz Gen X,Y Z, & Millennials don't have the gift of what we know what Rhythmically, Acoustically, Lyrically, and Melodically made sense. There was a time Arranger's wrote each piece of Music, for each Instrument Player. I know there are kids in school that play in Band, and have that understanding. A lot of folks wondered how Neil Sedaka got all those Harmonies in some of his songs... 4,8,12,16 part Mixdown and re record his own vocals. I thought he had 3 or 4 singers behind him. There will be less music for us, and even less for generations to come. Well, I sort of see it that way, I hope I'm wrong... I was raised by the Greatest Generation, a Boomer I am, and I learned to actually Like and dance my Mom and Dad's Music. I even learned to dance to it. Time to dust off my dance Spats.
