What a day, Canadian Open finals, huge crash in practice, then a flat at the top before my race run!!!

Thats a wild story for a race with two practice tumbles and a finals run on a borrowed wheel - given the circumstances, P5 aint too shabby I reckon! 🤠 The lad who helped you out with the wheel should retire it to the wall in his living room because that hoop is never ever going to go as fast and hard down a mountain as it did on that day! 😅 Also, much appreciation for the vlogs! Everybody seems to be slacking on the vlogging for this race except you and Jenna! 👍 The broadcast is nice but also seeing the stuff around it from the riders perspective is better.

Graham woke up that morning like, “I don’t need to know my rotor size, why would I need to know my rotor size, who would even ask that?”

Fair play Danny. Buckle up and take what you can. Fair play to you. It would have done in most people with the changes that you had to make. Nice touch from the lad to 👌👊

What a vlog, lets go Danny! How you still got P5 is anyones guess. "you put a lot of faith in that front tyre of yours, by who and how was it made?" "I don't know mate". The stuff of legend 🙂🤙

Ayyee thats my multitool you pulled the guys wheel off with! So sick to see you riding the last few days, you're looking insanely fast on one of the gnarliest courses and it's been a lot of fun to follow along in the videos

Perfect time for watching this, had an early tea and cut the lawn, sit down relax and watch you frantically change a front wheel and get 5th place 😳👍

Danny is so fast and so strong but if you'd see him on the street he looks like a normal dude. Watching that race run and knowing how hard it is to go even 1/2 his speed you'd think he'd have like 12 inch forearms lol. crazy.

Brilliant run for the bullshit you endured, 'not ideal' !! Fair play fella, you still look good and fast on the bike .. Carry on not giving a fuk ... ;)

Legend!!! Absolutely insane, having to borrow a tire at the top of the track right before your race run!!! I know you’re not thrilled with the result, but given the circumstances that was absolutely amazing!!! Well done.

I thought you had a great ride watching it live. Seeing this now with the tyre change makes it an incredible ride! Well done Danny

Hehehe very interesting indeed ! I would let you my entire bike or whatever part you need your your bike, even to any rider,I think that kid did the same any DH lover would do. Awesome mindset, your race was really good with someone else front tire, superb.

Have to say.. great riding even with all these crashes. And on a side note, props for the amazing gopro settings. Your footage looks way better then other WC-Vlogers 😉. You get a really realistic look of the track.

Less practice on the course should be mandatory. You guys are pros, 1 practice, then run a final on it! Just too many runs on it by the time the final comes around.

Phenomenal race run with a stranger's wheel - a great part of the race-day story that will become legend for sure. Loved watching the Redbull coverage - but to see the actual race via Danny-cam was awesome. Thanks!

Magic mary a good tyre but definitely a bit more squirm in them at the same pressures as kryptotal. You're never seeing that wheel again btw

moondust! ohhhh, I hate those backwards back slams....hope you didn't get the whiplash too bad today. Such a rough and tricky course - so many grabbers - your and Dak's practice recap was hilarious. The Ricky Bobby wheel swap pit stop was epic. Awesome race run, w/ a podium spot too. .....Might as well go for soda (kim mitchell - canadian rocker)
