The motorbike was still being ridden under power for about 50% of the time that the vehicle that the rider hit had his brake lights on. A bit of a lead that the rider was not paying any attention to what was in front of him. The collision was nothing to do with cars ahead of the one hit by the motorbike. Amazing excuses for bad riding .

Colorado 450L He did have to check his mirrors. Also, you can’t really predict when someone is going to panic slam on their brakes, and he was also alternating between the mirror and road. It just so happened he looked at the mirror at the wrong time, causing the accident.

@@twenty_six1728 Yes you cannot predict when someone comes to an emergency stop, but at the same time that is why the highway code tells you to maintain the correct stopping distance. The simple fact here is for this accident to happen he was either not paying attention, not maintaining the correct distance or exceeding the speed limit. If the woman he hit managed to stop without hitting the vehicle in front of her, the fact that he hit her shows she was abiding by safe driving rules and he wasn't. And yes we all get distracted, so all he had to do was admit that rather than making excuses. I have had my fair share in my time riding, and I am sure everyone has. It only takes a few seconds to glance in your mirror or check you speedo at the wrong moment.

Looks like a damp lot. Asphalt can be very slick when it's damp. It can actually get better if a hard rain washes the oily residue away vs when it just starts to get wet. Looks like he was turning and probably hit the front brake at the same time on slick surface.

The British guy says it wasn't the fault of the driver he crashed into because she had to brake so as not to crash into a car in front of her which was turning. Well, that's big of him isn't it? Why didn't you brake and not crash into the car in front? Well, you did, didn't you? - but you were going too fast on a wet road, you were too close behind and by your own admission you didn't even keep your eyes on the road. What a total and utter twat!

Different stupid unsafe motorcycle riders. KZbin sport bike riders are the author of their own demise 99.99% of the time. *Too fast* - low skills - dont wear proper riding gear - don't know how to counter steer - wheelie on public roads - don't practice swerving - can't emergency brake - don't know anything about lane positions - follow too close - ride in car blind spots - race away at a green light instead of checking who is coming through the red light, never look around 360 degrees as soon as they stop - never look around 360 degrees before moving ahead - expecting that nobody will drive through the red light against them, never expect a car to turn left in front of them - never expect someone from a side street to pull out etc. etc. on and on....Motorcycle riders fault 99.99% of the time !! Then you hear them blaming everyone and everything else except themselves. Ha Ha.

Although I agree the guy in that clip didn’t have much skill but, some of the drivers a fucking idiots or on their phones- more than likely, it’s both. Also why do you watch these videos if you’re just gonna complain? Obviously you’ve seen it all before yet you continue to watch the videos. Also, you can blame the motorcyclist with low skill and going to fast, sure. But don’t think for a second everything is placed on the riders. A rider can do literally everything perfect and yet still get into an accident due to the idiocy of the drivers. My cousin has rode motorcycles for years. He’s been in two accidents and both times the driver in the car was at fault. I can’t speak every rider but I can for the ones that do what they’re suppose to do to avoid stuff like that.

That may be the case, but the fact remains that the driver has obviously no idea how to brake on a motorcycle. I mean the _moment_ something unforseen happens and you go down because you are utterly unable to handle the brake in a way that does not leave to you sliding aimlessly across the street - thats the moment you should decide to look for a different hobby.

Far as I know you only have to call the police if someone is injured (in which case an ambulance will be dispatched too) or if someone flees the scene without exchanging information. Beyond that, taking each other's details, photographing the scene, then calling your insurance is enough.
