Great performance. Wunderschöne und detaillierte Aufführung dieser einzigartigen doch perfekt komponierten Sinfonie mit seidigen Tönen aller Streicher, milden Tönen aller Holzbläser und vor allem brillanten Tönen aller Blechbläser. Der vierte Satz klingt echt spannend und auch bedrohlich. Der intelligente und geniale ehemalige Chefdirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Orchester im lebhaften Tempo und mit möglichst effekitiver Dynamik. Literarisch fantastische und historisch wertvolle Aufnahme!
