12-27-20: $30+ for a tool that only makes one same jagged cut, I can't do it. I can achieve this look in other ways. However, like some others, I would have liked it if it had different blades too. Go Tim, though! He's quite innovative in what he puts out.

I ordered it. I love the idea of it being easier than scissors. To get a correct measurement.

Lol! Personally, I don’t think that there is a craft retailer/seller/merchandiser alive who would risk saying something negative about a Tim Holtz product. That being said, I love most of his products and I think he really takes his time getting it right before he releases it for sale. His regular cutter is wonderful! I’m not sure the deckled edge appeals enough to me to justify the $30, plus tax and shipping charge and the space in my craft room. But who knows! We crafters are a fickle bunch 🤓😁😉

I love the deckle edge, not sure I have room for another trimmer though. My issue with the deckled scissors is getting the edges straight, takes me forever. But that is the only fancy scissor I keep in my tool turn-about, all others are stowed away. Thank you for showing to us 💜

Just me but I like the water and tear method. Looks more artistic with a deeper deckle. BTW, you are looking good, girl. Your hard work is paying off. Good for you.

I like the concept of the Deckle Edge trimmer here's the but, space in my craft room and cost of 30.00 dollars I can't justify getting one. If it was a multitasker with interchangeable blades then I could justify buying one. I still have several pairs of the scissors.

Thank you for sharing your review!! As always, you do a remarkable job explaining products, techniques, methodology. I do like the look of deckle edges and can see how the trimmer would be a benefit to some crafters. Personally, I will continue to use my deckle scissors, tearing ruler and water / rip methods to create the deckle edge look. Just a side note.... this particular video seemed to be a little blurry, a little dark and it would have been helpful to have close up views of the actual deckle edge. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise!!

I think this would be better with a variety of edges, but it’s still fun and avoids all of that crooked cutting I do with deckle scissors and accidentally torn paper with deckle rulers! This is random, but have you thought of getting a non-reflective coating on your specs when you have them made up? You’ll be able to see more of your fabulous eyes even under the lights

Thank you for your review. I love this idea. Fits into my Budget and My boyfriend made me a slotted organizer so I just store it in there with all my We R Memory keeper boards. I have a very small dining room I converted to my craft area space is everything.

If you have youtube as a choice on your DVD player, you can pull up ones that are hard to see or someone who is coloring and can then see on a big screen . It's what I do.
