I remembered this when it aired the first time, when I was a Child. We were all sitting around the tv set watching Hee Haw, when Archie's Barbershop skit played this and we just sat around and laughed so hard our sides were hurting. I never forgot it, and had to come and watch it again. Archie Campbell could have everybody laughing so hard, when he did the barbershop. I sure do miss him and the rest of the gang.

My grandpa was a huge fan of HeeHaw and he loved this little sketch in particular and had the whole thing about word-for-word memorized! My family still says "it fitn't dit" and "fit dit." It still makes me laugh to go back and watch this!

What Archie was doing here is known a spoonerisms. Usually done by accident, in this sketch they simply rewrote an abridged version of Cinderella in spoonerisms and i assume he read it off cue cards. It must have been hard for Archie to tell this story without risk of slipping up. I wonder ehat rehearsals where for this sketch.

I presume the Network made them clean it up a little. In the original story on the LP, Rindercella met a Hung and Pransome Yince. Guess you could be Pransome but not Hung on Hee Haw... I used to listen to this nitwit 's routines and laughed. Still do, as a matter of fact.
