I saw Kelly in an interview say that Jesse is by far the best she could have ever hoped for. She said I never sing the same song twice and she is always intuitively right with me. And she is not to mention the way she can literally just pick up Kelly's voice in the middle of a song and then Kelly goes off and sings some other notes

WHOA! I LOVE this performance and I LOVE your reaction here, Hege❣️ What do you mean by stems? That’s a new term for me. The beginning section in her low register sounds so dreamy and dreamlike and smooth. Then when the backup vocals kick in and it goes gospel it’s a great changeup 🥰 I love every little break or crack, every vibrato, every run that she chooses to use. And OOOO those high note belts later on are gorgeous! I love that she holds that gaze, eyes wide open, for so long and then instead of blinking she closes her eyes for a few moments and really goes into The Zone. I was lucky enough to see Kelly on tour several times early in her career and I was always fascinated by how she would just get SO into The Zone, engaging her whole heart and soul and body, like she was momentarily in her own world. Captivating. THIS is a stellar performance of “Me”… just WOW. And I’ve been here long enough on your channel to know what’s coming in your commentary when those low notes kick in! 🥰 You love and appreciate the low notes so much! Thank you so much 🥰 Stems are just pre-recorded parts of a song, they can be certain instruments or vocals (main or backing), and it sounded like they had fattened up the backing vocals a bit here for the choir sound on the record ☺️ If that makes sense? 🖤 Just a thought about this performance. This song is so personal to Kelly--it's a direct statement to her experience in her divorce. The line: I don't need somebody to hurt me, I don't need someone to scold me, I don't need somebody who feels weak standing next to me..... That's the end where you said she sang it differently to the studio version. I believe Kelly was feeling the song in a strong way for this performance and kind of sang it with more confidence (for lack of a different word. ). So I'm wondering if she sings most songs slightly different because it hits her emotionally in a different way. She's such an authentic person, she doesn't like to fake it. Maybe I'm wrong but that's my intuition coupled with what I've heard her say. Anyway, excellent reaction as usual!!!!
