Something impressive that this video shows that I bet people take for granted is how well Layvan knows the locations and patrol routes of all the town guards. I've been red for 4 months and guards were always up my ass no matter where I went. It took me a long time to learn where I was and wasn't safe. The fact that he rp walks this whole video, without a ghillie, and without aggro-ing any guards (most of the time) is the biggest power move I've seen in BDO yet. It's actually kind of surprising to see him confidently walk around without being swarmed by players getting cheap shots in. Maybe he picked a good time or maybe it's just his notoriety; but I always had a rough time not getting ganked in towns. I was usually safe in a ghillie unless I agro'd a guard and players caught on that I was red.

I wanted to ask you, since you're an experienced player, what are the current things that can happen to a negative karma player when killed by other players inside the desert? Does dying to players also downgrade your gear? What's the thing that really happens? I often hear many people saying contradictory things to eachother, but never got the chance to try it out myself.
