What’s sadder is for a young girl to allow fame and glory to bedazzle and dazzle her. If one surgeon will not do it, there’s a million more willing to do it, not to mention those who go outside the country to risk their lives in the name of whatever they are seeking. It’s so easy to blame others for some of the choices we make, and no matter what, people will end up doing what they really want. It’s always good to teach our children about cause and effect early on. I see so many strong young people out there that are doing great things. But in the end, there’s nothing to be sad about if you are happy with the outcome, she looks happy and that’s all it should matter. It’s only sad and disgusting when someone forces you to do something, or when someone does something to you without your consent, like many African girls who get mutilated every day, sad.

Just to add some context and balance to the comment section. She moved from a small home town to L.A which is a huge contrast for most young adults. Ontop of relocating to plastic surgery central (Cali) and also having to see herself on tv and magazines consistently the pressure felt to aspire to a more photogenic tv ready aesthetic was real. If we're being honest with ourselves most people don't feel beautiful for all the wrong reasons and most people take one hundred selfies, before they can decide on one they barely like of themselves to upload, so everyone can relate to the struggle of being very critical of one's own face n body now add L.A & Tv to the mix and imagine having that personal criticism magnified times 20 plus and unlike your camera phone u don't get to chose the best edits and angles of yourself on tv, so I can understand why alot of celebrities turn to plastic surgery. Its not healthy, but there are bases for it.
