Georgina Lewis Yeah I didn't realize she had so many things done. It sounds like a lot when u see it on paper or hear her list the procedures but when u really look into it they were all a bunch of subtle changes. So glad it all turned out okay since so many have horror stories.

I think it helps that she wear less make-up now to. She really is a beautiful woman, but her tendency to wear tons of make-up in the past only made her surgery appear even more dramatic and fake-looking. Now her look is more natural the overall effect is much softer. Less fake hair, breast reduction too, all adds to a much more natural appearance and I have to admit that although she was beautiful before, I can the changes she made have been successful.

I don't understand why she looks natural now, yet some people don't. Is it just that we see some people before they are fully healed? I also know she had some procedures refined after her 10 procedures. I also wonder if she did it when she was young, so now everything fully healed and it looks good, maybe we are used to seeing that many procedures on someone older and it just looks unnatural...like we will all age and the sooner we get used to that idea, the easier it will be on all of us.

@@LTilli313 I think there’s quite a few factors. The plastic surgery disasters were all used to seeing are generally from people who suffer extreme body dismorphia & don’t know when to stop. They have super unrealistic expectations & seek changes so drastic that it ends horribly for everyone to see but themselves. Heidi enhanced what she already had rather than drastically changed her appearance, her genetics & yes youth played a significant factor & she knew when to stop. Her surgeon was also clearly talented and not some South American hack working out the back of a butcher shop.

@@LTilli313 I think what ultimately makes people look overdone is when they get filler and injections in their face. nipping and tucking are typically subtle procedures and only look intense if people get it done more than once or if their face doesn't even need it. it looks like she had a good understanding of what would make her look better. some people just blindly follow cosmetic surgery trends that do not flatter them.

I don't have the issues with Heidi like so many people do. I feel like she is/was very insecure and gullible, but she's also well-spoken, sincere and probably smarter than people are willing to give her credit for.

I agree, I don't think she's a horrible person at heart but I think she's easily manipulated due to her insecurities and let Spencer make her a fame-hungry girl who chooses fame or her boyfriend over her friends. I'm not pleased with her choices and behavior but I don't see it as her being evil, I see it as her being brainwashed and it makes me sad for her. Once you're brainwashed it's hard to get out of it.

The interesting part is her and Spencer have been married longer than most Hollywood couples. The irony lol. And she does actually look great here. The amount of surgeries were ridiculous, but she had a good surgeon. She doesn't have that plastic look about her. She looks shockingly natural. I remember when she had those oversized tits though. Those looked utterly ridiculous. Good thing she had sense to get them removed.

Heidi mentioned in an article I believe that she had her breasts reduced because the implants she had on them before were becoming a health risk. She didn't look great at all when she had first boob job indeed so I'm glad she had them corrected as they now looked a lot more natural.

Yeah it was for the show. Spencer said that one scene where he leaves her on the road and kicks her out of his car, they had to do 12 takes and it was all planned and scripted, and then they'd go out on normal dates after the show was filmed. I don't think they would have lasted if all that was real.

she seems like she's matured quite a bit and she does look better... but the sad thing is, even though she says she's "done with surgery", she most likely will need to have surgery again at some point (maintenance or corrective). it's so interesting that spencer was with her through all that surgery and has stayed with her.

That's what I was just thinking - so it's a little bit odd to hear her say that she was done with surgeries. I guess she can now "maintain" it more "naturally" with proper diet & diligence / it's really a "lifestyle" as is said & in honesty. Her 'business though requires her to maintain an certain appearance type though, & also, not hoping it on anyone, but there could be a complication in the future like you said, where something might have to be modified, corrected, or which ever. And if she doesn't get botox & fillers like everyone else & their cats while less invasive, it is still required that you go to the doctor or a clinic to do it, so ... I mean - basically, it's not really "that" honest in a way. And also, it';s kind of hard to lie about it when 1.) they put it out there in the first place to try to get her a career going. 2.) The old footage & pictures show an obvious difference - so she kind of HAD to say something about it, if that makes sense...? There's really no disputing the difference.. pretty major changes.. So.. that's not really the same thing in a way, as someone sitting down with someone else who has a serious career at something and asking them to blurt out what ever up-keep they have had to , or have had done - I don't know. It's kind of apples and oranges in a way. Other than that she seems nice, I thought she was attractive before also, but if she felt she had to do all of that, then that of course is her decision. I thought she was fine before but if this helps her confidence, then hey, she looks great. She seems nice, so why not just leave it be

She's very pretty now, don't get me wrong, but goodness, I honestly loved how she looked naturally before she got all the surgeries done. She was glowing with authentic, raw beauty - not cookie-cutter Barbie beauty - and natural beauty is something I hope all girls can embrace about themselves. I have days where I can't stand the way I look and wish I wasn't born with certain features, but then I have days where I have to step back and just appreciate that I am unique the way I am. It makes me feel better when I see examples of women that learned to love themselves; when I hear they caved to plastic surgery, it makes me feel...worse? There is this unexplainable pressure to conform when you hear that there is a certain standard out there, and that a lot of women are using surgeries to achieve it. I just wish more women could understand that it's damaging and sometimes dangerous to alter themselves, especially if it's over the top, extreme measures. It is refreshing to hear Heidi Montag be honest about her experience, though. She has learned a lot, albeit the hard way. Vanity can be such a destructive thing.

The reason why she looks great now is because most of the procedures that were done on her were semi-permanent or not permanent at all. The only truly invasive procedures were the nose job, the chin job, and the breast implants. Everything else her surgeon did wears off over time (brow lift, fat grafts and fillers in lips, cheeks, liposuction, etc.) They claimed to have performed "10 procedures" on her purely for shock value, where in reality only 3 of the procedures were actual invasive surgical procedures.

i think now that a lot of the stuff she got done has settled/dissolved she looks a lot more natural and younger than when she first got them. Also I think she died on the operating table for like a minute and was on crazy pain medications with like 24/7 nurse care because of how much stuff she had done.
