Even though this is just an ad, I do appreciate the information. I've been looking for something like this. I feel like a slightly smaller version, maybe without the ice maker, would be a perfect for long term use in a bus. Nice job getting a sponsor.

The ice maker is pretty slick to be honest!

Another paid promotion. You are so much better than this. Now to watch a proper one of your videos, and hopefully restore my faith in you!

You started it- so we’re having a conversation. What would you suggest I do? Just in actual costs- this series is at around $7,000. That is parts. That is not accounting for 38 days of labor (just in the initial rescue), amongst 8 different people. It took over 500 hours of labor, 7,000 miles commuted to drive there and back (some trips were solo, some with a crew), and all those meals. Realistically, we’re looking at just shy of 100 meals and 500 hours of labor. So negating that- JUST talking about the $7,000 it took to even have a project that me and my friends can volunteer to work on, and produce content for you to enjoy- how do you propose we raise this capital? Based on engaged (commented) viewership we’d need to charge a subscription of around $50 per view per video, you in? I’ll set up the patreon. So a company reaching out with anything I actually need for the build, and cash on top- even a horrible deal, is input, in a sea of output. We’re having a discussion now, so…. What are your suggestions? Keep in mind I’m not going to just keep buying busses to make videos for you. If it breaks even- maybe, but we’re off by a lot.

Let’s work together to solve this. I’m open to a discussion right here in the comments, but only if we can keep it civil- which so far hasn’t been the case from your end. How do you feel entitled to complain about a paid add on a free channel? It costs me between $4-6k in time, equipment, parts, etc PER VIDEO to produce. So while I’d love to cut out the ads, I don’t think you’d like to pay $500/month subscription fee to my channel, which you are otherwise enjoying watching. If a company is willing to pay something like that, and thus keep the content flowing and free to you- “how” specifically does that make you mad? What would you suggest we do to work together? There will hopefully be a LOT more adds, as they allow the content to happen- which companies would you like to see us do paid adds for to keep the content free for you?
