These two grifters got a cash settlement from the bank and the tribe got $100,000.00 for "reconciliation" and they still want an apology! I want an apology for the three weeks they shut down the country's railway in 2019, all the churches they've burned down, the $BILLIONS in my and other taxpayers money that has been given to them over the years with no shown results and the constant whining about unmarked graves that NONE have ever been dug up to prove anything and on and on.....

The police agreed to the ceremony. Complain to them. And the police thought it was ok to go to an apology ceremony without the 2 people that actually committed the offences. Huh???????!!

Since when do law enforcement officers show up to apology ceremonies? Absurd. People of all backgrounds are wrongfully arrested every day. Why does one group feel entitled to public groveling when other groups get no such special treatment?

Part of the settlement was the officers where to orally apologize at a mutually agreed place and time. Personally, if I was following procedure, I wouldn't apologize. Removing someone to another location and arresting ( placing cuffs on them ) is in my mind appropriate. Equality of treatment leading to an issue of not taking into account a cultural sensitivity is an interesting position. Further if I understand correctly they drove to the bank. But only had a band card? Is that correct? While the investigation into the bank's 911 call was ongoing was a driver's license offered to the police?

everything my Nation does is in the public eye. it's the best way to keep our people safe. the facts of the matter are half of the people in the prison system are indigenous while we make up only 6% of the population. @@Starseed1101 the reason the percentage is so high with indigenous people is because we are systematically targeted I don't think you seem to understand that 6% of the population cannot do 50% of the crime just physically not possible.
