I Fought the Law is a song written by Sonny Curtis of the Crickets and became popularized by a remake by the Bobby Fuller Four, which went on to become a top-ten hit for the band in 1966 and was also recorded by the Clash in 1979. The Bobby Fuller Four version of this song was ranked No. 175 on the Rolling Stone list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2004, and the same year was named one of the 500 "Songs that Shaped Rock" by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Tennfatmatt.WTF? It's today, and I find his shirt very acceptable :-) But that's because I'm not a brainwashed, guilt-tripping, knee-bending snowflake bullied by BLM and Antifa into swallowing the false narrative/idiot's guide that the US Civil War was started to put an end to slavery. Lincoln spun it that way two years into the war to encourage Britain's parliamentarians to use the Royal Navy, at at that time the most powerful navy in the world. to mount patrols to blockade Charlestone, Va, and other confederate ports from exporting cotton in exchange for weapons and other war materials. That aside, The Stray Cat's do a great job on this-three guys, with only three instruments, terrific!
