I know it's not Joe's song, but he so owns the 2.52secs. Perfect with all the imperfections.

The clash made it their own, it's certainly my favourite version, I love the original too

Steve Barnard was definitely the best choice of drummer for that band, he was flawless with them, seen them live twice and he was just brilliant. Met Joe and Steve the second time and both lovely people

0.55 That was the worst guitar solo I've ever heard
@voodoochile8046 ай бұрын
...with the second solo a close second. The good thing about that is that this doesn't matter at all. Still great Rock'n' Roll because they mean it! Attitude ist everything.

@@voodoochile804 Thanks for that. That makes me feel I'm not such a crap guitarist after all 😂

The clash weren't about guitar solos go back to listening to pink floyd
@Chongo1963 ай бұрын
@@kevinflynn9331 I'm a 58 year old who has been a massive fan of The Clash since 1977. Mick Jones could play a guitar extremely well and picked out some decent solos in his time. The guy in the video is not even in tune, let alone in time. It's an embarrasment
