Timothy Zahn gave us worthy sequels, with complex, intriguing characters that would their way into our light and dark colored hearts. For 30 years we waited to see this opening crawl. Thanks to you (and no thanks to Disney!) we got a tantalizing glimps of what this worthy movie and true sequel could have been like

Darth Angelus has made a lot of heir to the empire in an animated fan film series, and is working on the rest of the thrawn triology, go check it out, it’s incredible :) Also, really miss the opening crawl, haven’t fet it’s power and magic since 2005 for ROTS, really looking forward to it being in Dave’s movie. And Mara Jade's theme by Arturo Díez Boscovich is also really amazing, please share it, so it can get some attention, and hopefully be played at celebration at some point, even if Mara Jade never becomes canon.

I’ve created title crawls for myself on some books and comics cuz it’s just not right without em. I was thinking about making a channel for creating and uploading them but figured that would probably be a bit much and I dunno if anyone would care. I did wanna see if anyone made the Thrawn trilogy crawls so thanks for ensuring I won’t have to! I haven’t read them yet, I’ve been reading them in order of chronology, beginning with Truce at Bakura and I’m pretty dang close now. Again, thanks. This’ll certainly come in handy.

Yes, but many people consider the Thrawn book Triology by Timothy Zahn the true sequal triology. It takes place in the same time period as the mandoverse, more or less, and follows Thrawn trying to destroy the rebellion, with Luke meeting his wife Mara Jade, in legends, which is non canon/Disney content, anyone who’s read it consider it far superior to the disney sequal triology.
