I've been making furniture all my life and in the last five years I've been making furniture for my children. I believe the internet has opened so many doors for the craftsman that did not exist twenty years ago. Had the internet existed in my youth I would have adopted furniture making as a means of support. I am now a happy 75 year old and wish those who are younger and supporting themselves with their craft all the luck and prosperity life has on offer.

You just met another Dad that cries thinking about their kids. My girls mean everything to me and yea I get it. We both are so lucky to have that love. Mine are 28 and 25 and just amazing. Really like what you are doing. Thank you.

And of course, from the other side, finally understanding (after 25, 30) what a good dad you have/had, and contemplating just how much he cared (and got involved), can make you feel awestruck/grateful. Sheesh, how can I ever repay all of the work/sacrifice that he did for me?

One of the best KZbin videos I've ever seen. P.J. is a talented, humble, gracious steward of precious resources. He prioritizes his family over all else and is still devoted to a craft at which he excels. Well done to Mabie on capturing this remarkable man, who, btw, echos my exact sentiment when it comes to becoming tender when talking about his family. So very nicely done.
