Govind Raj dub madara is good but not as good as sub. Madara’s voice is supposed to be slightly raspy and the dub voice actor missed that mark. Too smooth. The raspiness of the sub voice suits him much better and sounds more badass

Using the Kushina game clip was just unfair, even if not intentional, nobody who’d only watched sub could ever get that. This is also proof, that Naruto could easily look the same using 3D animation, and 2D in 4K looks so clean now anyway, that you can’t even see they’re drawings anymore, 3D is way cheaper, easier, and faster to do, which means more content for the fans, just like 3D is also way cheaper, faster and easier than live action, why star wars should only do animation.

I think the Hashirama voice clip is the director's fault, not the actor. It sounds like they recorded it in four different takes, so each one has the inflection of a whole sentence even though they're just sentence fragments. If they'd recorded the whole line at once, then split it up into four clips, it'd sound way more natural

Heisuten, Kishimoto supposedly stated that he prefer the dub voice of Orochimaru because when you first hear it you don't know if it's a woman or man voice and Kishimoto wanted Orochimaru to have that type of voice because Orochimaru isn't just 1 gender beacuse remember in the chunin exams in og Naruto he had a girl body and then later a male body. So you get confused with Orochimaru in dub at first.

I don't claim that like all the Dub voice actors are better, I feel like when you are used to one you are biased anyway but I like a lot of the Dub Voices. Like Madara is just amazing, I love Tobi's hillarious voice and most the characters to be honest, there isn't any I really hate. But I do like Naruto. In the original Naruto he sounds like a goofy kid like he should and I dunno, I just think the voice fits. But yet again, I have heard him that way since I was 7 years old so....

@Haku infinite I agree and also a lot of times people are confusing the performance of the voice actors and the dialouge. Like Steins;Gate is one I find interesting. Like I love the Dub, the voice actors are great and the dialouge is witty and funny from start to finish. I wouldn't change it for the world. HOWEVER, with Steins;Gate there was sommuch of the humour and context that was pretty Japan oriented and somestuff had to be changed for it to make sense for a Western Audience. Like the part where Okabe talks in broken English to sound cool, that had to be changed and in that case, the Japanese version is better. Was that the voice actors fault, no. It was a change in script. Some times the context has to be changed and that can't be helped. In the end though it doesn't matter, people can enjoy any version they want and have their opinions on which they prefer, that is fine, but I have a problem with people that demand that the version they like is superior and try and bash the other.

I like both sub and dub because sometimes it hard to get through the dub voices, but other times the dub is better. Like, I enjoy the demon slayer sub more than the dub, but I prefer the dragon ball dub over the sub.

Tbh I like the Naruto dub- as a person who often likes sub more. But I will say, some of the English voices just sound annoying and or don’t fit the character’s personality. Mha, I don’t like the dub voice for all might, it just sounds very typical lol. Another example, is Gojo’s eng voice , it’s less energetic, and doesn’t rlly change in tone often, which makes Gojo lose some of his airy personality, which is important (in my opinion) to his characterization. I’m not bashing the English va’s, it’s just personally, my interpretation of anime characters and their voices (including tone and such) is better done by the original language: Japanese. Here’s some of my opinions on the English voices of Naruto: I like Kakashi’s, Itachis’, and Naruto’s, but I feel like most of the other voices are more stiff, and less fitting. Take Sasuke’s eng voice for example, during the scene when he laughs in shippuden, it feels a lot more awkward and forced compared to the Japanese version. Also, this is more minor, and is more about Itachi’s eng voice but, the eng va for Itachi did the lines for him as a kid. And while some ppl might not see a problem w this, but because of how rich and deep older itachi sounds, it’s hard to imagine that the eng va can make younger sounding Itachi. It personally just sounds like he’s 16 when he’s 13-14 lol- other than that, it’s good lol.
