I still remember that I was forced to play in the school group when I was a kid I am 58 now, the teacher was a very crazy man all he did was to insult us, i was never insulted in my life like that ever again. He used the worst words, but people said he is a honorful teacher so nobody said anything. Now I am a 58 year old japanese businessman, and I can't forget him. I forgot how to play the drums probably but not how to insult others.

I don't think they're fully improvising tho. There may be a few improvised solos but if it were a full jam session they would have to improvise the whole thing. There are clear signs of there being some kind of form and stuff.

@@shiningarmor2838 Taiko, Timpani, Bass Drum, Snare and Toms are great for use together in cinematic arrangements. The one thing that eludes me is how do people beat those huge taikos crazily fast and not have to muffle or dampen them in anyway? When you play Bass Drum it rings out if you play fast and you have to muffle it to get more attack. Doesn't seem to be a problem for taiko players.
