People say that heizou is mid. But my C6 heizou's dps skill with lost prayer hits for 200K+. That almost on par with Navia.

Problem w him is he hits for 100-200k with his skill and burst and then they are on a 6s+ cd and his normals do no dmg

@sigma20xx with a c6 faruzan, bennet, and furina team you have plenty of off field damage/aoe and heizou will hit like a truck. Yes it's a ridiculously high investment team, but I think it's incredibly underrated.

​@@NoVanity1 the only "high investment" on this team is Faruzan c6 and if you get lucky you can just have it. I got lucky on the Cloud Retainer banner and got my Faruzan to c6. Everyone has Bennet everyone should have Furina

There are so many new factors since his release that has made him stronger, and I always wanted guide makers to talk about that It’s a shame a lot of people in the community don’t really talk about Heizou or his kit, so thank you so so much for making this! I'm so glad he can be ran as an Anemo DPS. I got Wanderer and Heizou C6 and I was wondering "well what the heck do I do with Heizou now?". The answer; second Anemo DPS (for the alternate abyss team or in case Wanderer catches a cold or something). I was looking at his C6 being like "this wouldn't do anything on a swirl build". I'm kinda insane and I consider playing Wanderer and Heizou with the Bond of Life book and Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy to buff their entire kit (instead of mostly the NAs or just the skill). It might just have a higher damage ceiling. Also C4 Jean, AMC, Zhongli and Miku for full Anemo RES Shred (plenty of shred for 2 teams). Thank you for the video.

This is by far the best Heizou DPS video on KZbin!! There's a lot of misleading info on him but I really think you nailed his dps build. He is the only off meta character I actually play because, with proper investment, he can rival a lot of meta teams. This team does amazing single target damage but also decent AOE/grouping which is super valuable. I have almost the same exact build, with similar stats, but I'm running Glad instead of GT. If I run this team with Furina, instead of Xinqui, I can hit for 225k pretty consistently! What set are you running on Faruzan? I'm running Tenacity of the Milileth but I don't fully understand how it works on her exactly. I'm doing it in good faith because I've read that it's her best in slot when she's C6.

@NoVanity1 I'm running 4 piece Tenacity on her as well. The reason the 4 piece Tenacity works for her only at c6 is because the burst also triggers a buff to the active character. When the active character deals damage with that buff, they also proc Pressurized Collapse, which is considered skill damage. This allows Tenacity's 3 second duration to consistently proc. Hope this helps!

Good video, heizou deserves attention. Although the only thing that "bad" with his kit is the skill cool down at 10 seconds, which actually makes 4 piece GT is really good considering that there is no icd on his charge so it takes 4 seconds to get max stacks at c0. Therefore we have 5 seconds downtime on him. This can let you switch to supports and apply buff and then switch back to heizou immediately doing his skill. So rotations will go like -> 1. heizou 4 x N1CA 2. switch between supports (at least 4~5 secs) 3. Switch to heizou use skill immediately 4. Repeat Also considering his NA multipliers are so bad that it is better to switch out to another catalyst(or any elemental applier) user in team to apply elements when you have max stacks. His c2 or c1 should have been replaced with some skill cd reduction of .8 second on swirls every 1 second. But then he probably be hitting harder than navia.

I think you are underselling EM build wayy too much here. For a lot of teams its noticeably better than a pure dps atk/dmg/crit build. For electro-charge teams specifically, it’s not just swirl damage that EM benefits, there are also lots of chain electro-charge reactions that heizou has ownership of by being able to swirl both elements to due the nature of electro-charge perserving both elemental auras. Your assertion that “heizou is the main dps of the team, so you should build for his damage.” Is not always true. As a 4 star his scalings are very low except for his E, it often ends up being much more worth it to build to maximize reaction damage and rez shred for your offielders that have a higher damage potential. Admittedly, it depends on the team to say which build is better but I don’t think either one is “incorrect” as you seem to suggest here.

if you really wanna go EM, you already have Kazuha/Venti/Sucrose/Sayu for that, specially sucrose is more well suited for that than heizou (aside VV buffs, she buffs 50em + 20% of his em to allys and 20% dmg bonus of the element proc by burst at c6) plus you're kinda wasting all the crazy buffs that heizou has for his skill

Honestly the best heizou guide i'been seen, thanks! also agree 4pc VV isn't best for him but i was just wonder, between 2 pc 15% anemo + 2 pc %18atk / 2pc + 2pc 30% anemo / 2pc 15%anemo + 2pc GT, which one would be best all around, i know golden troupe is best for big numbers on his skill but, the basics and burst aren't affected, and even when the burst isn't as strong as the skill, still can pack quite a punch

I run him with Beidou, Fischl and Xingqiu, and while Heizou himself doesn’t do crazy numbers, the team covers offense, defense, constant application, healing and energy recovery quite well. I wouldn’t ruin it in the abyss without full c6 on each of these, but it is still fun to use in boss fights and challenges

12:45 well... if u want to play hypercarry heizhou for the funsies then yes use a different one, but his best teams are as a solo anemo driver. taser, national, beidou fishl aggravate, the like.

I know that it's technically more powerful, but I generally don't wan't to use characters I like in ways that their kit's don't really support. Non of those teams play into Heizou's strength, and most of them prefer Sucrose anyways.

After doing some calculations, I came to the conclusion that the R5 Solar Pearl is better than other 5-star weapons. Feels crazy. I'm surprised but pleasant. Only the Wriothesley signature is better

As a wanderer main, i build heizou with EM for swirl unlike the former. I guess that is the optimal build for me to maximize his kit. But not neglecting his personal dmg.

It needs to be an Anemo Character, because the set specifically says after the cinder city user trigger the reaction, at least for now we can equip this on Faruzan and stack her buffs with that 12% for non Natlan characters

@PyrrhP It's main stat isn't helpful and the ability is also based on HP which he doesn't scale off of, but because you're new, just run it for now and build other parts of his kit while you wait to get Solar Pearl
