Super interesting video! I've been loving this series, especially the lens in which it is being shared/taught through. I find it very hard to find scholarship on Hekate that isn't shared through a Wiccan lens. While there is nothing wrong with that, it just isn't the path or form that fits me and my relationship with Hekate. So thank you for creating this series and for introducing me to lots of wonderful resources in all of your videos

I honestly wanted nothing to do with witch craft. Not my thing.... Nothing against them or practices but I am very free flow into Mysticism. She is coming through and I was like "nope" at first. I guess since she came through I am trying to embrace and follow why she came through without letting myself get to influenced by what others say but more so to find commonalities in actual experiences of her making contact.

I've never held any rituals or worship directed toward Hekate alone, I tend to focus more on Helios (whom I serve, i have an odd thing with Titan worship) as a god of magic and Father of Witches. When it comes to Hekate, I tend to worship Her exclusively as a Household goddess along with the other gods of the oikos. I understand she has so many aspects and domains but I feel so many neglect the home these days, and I feel that's where Hekate is most at home, pun intended lol Wonderful video by the way!!!!

I’m a little new to Hekate. And Hekate had been with me for a long time. It just took me awhile to figure out it was her but, I have a story how she got me out something paranormal and I didn’t know it was her at first. But now knowing her energy and who she is. How she’s been helping me at my crossroads of my life right now. I am also a city kid… But, I use to live by the is lake. It was a man made lake, nothing special, it had a half built stone path and dirt in the other side of the lake. It was a nice little lake though. Take your dog to, take your weed and go smoke a bowl on the nice day. People would fish there. Its literally in a city. right by a highway, in fact there was path leading down into a neighborhood. My neighborhood. I use to live at the apartments across the street and I walking from my friends house home. I’m walking around the stone path and there’s still pink in the sky. My mom wanted me home before it was dark. All the sudden I had gotten just like this feeling to turn around and I didn’t know why. Until I looked up until I saw this massive hooded figure walking up the path I had to cross to get home. Up to the lake. It was slowly walking but its strides were wide. I don’t know what it was but it was no man. A grim reaper without a weapon. He stood at the crossroads. Just looking at me. And I had this voice in the back of my head “keep going.” It was welcoming. Like I did not fear the voice but the figure infront of me, it was frightening. Once I hit the crossroad, it tried to grab me. I fled so quickly and just ran to the closest Main Street which wasn’t far at all. I looked back to see if it was following me down the path. And it was. I couldn’t just run home. I literally ran so quickly I don’t know how fast I actually got to the main crossroad. The voice told me to keep walking on the side walk along the way to keep in sight. After that whole experience and that thing was gone. It was like the voice just lead me home. The light lamps were extra bright that night just for me. Who knows what could have happened that night if not for Hekate saving me. I don’t know what that thing was, but I’m glad she came to me. And she came to me quick. I had no idea who she was at this time in my practice. I was young child fucking around and pissing off spirits on boards cause I was bored. Zero respect for the dead when I was a teen. As an adult. It’s completely different now and to have her in my life. It’s been a blessing really. But she’s really not for the faint of heart. I am still just trying to do so much research on her while also building her alter how I know she wants it. This all was very helpful! Thank you! I hope my experience with her wasn’t far from others was well. That was just a time I look back and unknowingly heard her speak to me when I truly needed her. I honestly thought it was a friend who had passed recently. Now knowing her energy. It was her. For sure no mistaking that warmth feeling of being looked after. Someone was with you who was gonna protect you. I believe she’s been trying to reach out my whole life. I have strange dreams always have, I always will. Some of the time they come true. All I know is that I’m very blessed to have her in my life

For me, my introduction with Hecate is a weird and crazy one, I always had a fascination with Greek mythology and it’s Gods and Goddesses and never really knew why that was the case. One day I decided to go to a tarot reading and the person doing the reading did a deity reading on me and they told me Hecate is my godly parent, and that we were related spiritually and platonically, and so this is where I started doing my research and doing prayers to her!
