On the PAM8403 board, audio ground is connected straight to power ground. Furthermore on the XY-BT-Mini boards that i see, audio GND is also part of the common power ground pour. Trying to connect both power ground and audio ground on either of them necessarily creates a ground loop, even if you're trying to star-ground them - this is not a true star-ground if you have redundant grounds! Just remove all the redundant ground wires, because you have still two ground loops left. Consider that there are existing capacitors in audio circuit. The 100uF ones on the BT board don't work to your disadvantage. There are however 1uF ceramic capacitors on audio inputs of the PAM board, which i think form a 7Hz highpass against the 22kOhm resistor, which i guess is par for the course, and tying down inputs with such a resistor to ground near device actually reduces noise by a LOT! Because input impedance of PAM is crazy high, so even a small stray current gets converted to a nontrivial amount of noise voltage. Anyway you can reduce component count and it's only going to improve. High pass filtering can be useful to reduce driver excursion and allow more volume, but under normal conditions, it's not an improvement, especially if not tuned to the speaker. Low pass to get rid of some RF interference can be super helpful though. An inductance in series with the speaker is also pretty futile - a speaker is already an inductor! Unless your added on inductance is so high that you swamp out the speaker inductance, which is just completely impractical, or unless it's similar enough to where you form an LCL filter. Also solderless breadboards are not to be trusted, i'm sure it's part of the issue with the test setup. Higher value bulk capacitance on power inputs is not always better. This is because lower value electrolytic capacitors have a lower ESR value as a rule. With this kind of project, i think about 100-470uF total would be perfectly fair, even better if you can distribute it among several capacitors.

@@nikibelov904 headphone wires are not shielded. There's no point in them being shielded, since a headphone is purely a differential mode transducer and needs a substantial current to actuate. Also headphones are not sensitive to radio frequencies, active circuits are though. Microphone wire for active microphones is shielded though.

Thank for this detailed comment, I don't know how I missed it, but now I respond. You are right, I made mistakes with the grounding, might try it again with your solution. I've put inductors because when I've measured the output with the oscilloscope, it was full of high frequency signals, so in order to do some measurement, including the output power, I had to add an inductor to filter out these high frequency signals. I know the breadboard is far inferior than a proper PCB, but for these kind of experiments it is really good.

Hi, if the Li-ion battery has no built in protection circuit then I highly recommend using a tp4056 module. Thanks for watching!

power supply switching frequency 60 khz it is necesary?or can you just connect the amplifier directly to bluetooth?
@Helectronics
@Helectronics 3 жыл бұрын
Not at all, you can power these board with batteries to get even better quality output. The 60kHz switching freq of the power supply should be eliminated somehow to achieve better output quality.

If you connect both board to the same power supply, a ground loop will be created and they would generate noise as seen in the video, that's why you need to experiment with the connections.
@Helectronics
@Helectronics 3 жыл бұрын
@@davidurbina3874 You can, but if you pay attention you can hear that the output sound is not clean, moreover you need to use a BMS module (battery management system) to protect the battery from overdischarge and accidental short circuit. The PAM8403 board has no built in battery protection circuit. The guy just soldered the battery to the modules direcly which is dangerous, also an on-off switch would be also handy if the circuit or battery catches fire haha.

Sorry it is kind of off-topic to this video but I have seen that you and a lot of your viewers are actually really knowledgeable in matters of Bluetooth stuff so I thought I contact you guys.. I want to make my livingroom Audio devices wireless (I heard Bluetooth is better suited than wifi?) and thought I would need to buy a transmitter board for every device (vinyl player, DVD player, amplifiers and a tuner so four Boards?) and then I need to get a receiver which will receive all the Bluetooth signals. I connect the output of the receiver to my speakers and subs at last and should be fine right? Please someone help me out with this I am so confused.. Thanks guys, stay well oh and nice video btw

It's not off topic if it's about electronics. Also, thank you for watching and for the kind words. What you want to make is possible by using Arduino with bluetooth transmitter and receiver module, but I haven't tested one of that so I can't really help with that.
