I loved the commentary for this video. It really kept me entertained. I loved your pink hair and when you had it half gray half pink. I got a pixie cut last year because I had a lot of damage from dying and bleaching so I'm letting it grow out. I have a short bob now and it's mostly my natural color which is a medium ashy blonde. I told myself I'd leave it the hell alone once I got all my natural color grown out but I SO want to pull a Melanie Martinez and dye it half one color and half the other (I know she didn't invent that style obviously; she just rocks it so well and is always changing it).

I hate it when I'm told 'You shouldn't dye your hair, your beautiful now. Why change it.' It's almost insulting to me since I feel more comfortable with blue or purple hair than brown or blonde hair. I intend on dying my blue hair once my wig comes in and if I can wear it to work, since my manager needs to okay it, but do you get that shit also? Like you'd be "prettier" without the lilac hair, or don't dye your hair so much. Hair is literally the least perminate thing you can do to your body, yet it means so much to people.

Love this, I've done the bright red, pink, purple, dark brown, dark red, violet, blonde, white blonde, dark again, back to mixed blondes and so on.... You suit pastels so much! Also, I was at Download 2010 and at that Mötley Crüe & Def Leppard gig in 2012!

How did you get from black hair to blonde? My hair is STUCK at ginger/orange, and I can't do anything about it. The bleach won't lift it any more than that, unfortunately.

Love this vid! lol I use directions lilac (using up the last of it before i just use violet, cost me way less with mixing with conditioner! lol) but after the first wash it pretty much all washes out?! do you find this? x

just bleach them as you normally do, tone them and then add the colour :)
