Unless you have worked a tractor to farm, to clear or grade off land, unless you have watched these large trackhoes and dozers work, there is no way to comprehend the amount of work needed to clean up this mess. While this video is long, and to some even boring, its ESSENTIAL in showing just how monumental the scope of this work is. Not to mention the precarious positions these operators must put themselves and their equipment in to get to the debris. This is one machine, on one pile on one small patch of ground. There are HUNDREDS of miles, on both sides of the rivers, creeks, lakes and streams. Then, there are THOUSANDS of debris flows no where near the water, completely seperate from waterways, on the sides of mountains. It requires an immense amount of work and time to untangle all this mess. God bless them all, each one for their tireless work. There is really no end in sight for those of us who live here. But these individuals, those who film and conduct interviews, people who come to help clean out a house or a business, those who search and clean up debris piles, fix roads and provide access with bridges, there are no words to convey how you are giving us hope.
