Hi Helen, I did a class with you quite a few years ago and I also did a spider web on my quilt. We all had a good laugh as I did the arcs the wrong way around. Oh well, it must have been an alien spider. I also put a little spider in it and I loved it. Your class was great and so much fun. I can highly recommend you as a teacher. Great panel! I’ld love the spirit dancers on a skill panel and with all the USA quilters (like myself) sure would be nice to have a US ship from location to get the pre$printed panels, maybe an affiliated Handi quilter location? One more thought on panels; I saw the video a while back on some of the quilts you’ve made, one of them comes to mind because it was humorous: it was a still life of fruit with zippers. 😂 I llove your humor so much in that, I would love to see a panel with humor in it! That really stuck in my mind as an indication of how art in quilting can evoke emotion! Thanks so much for that viewpoint!

Where are your instructions for putting the blocks together once done, please? Also what batting do you use?. I cannot find your info on youtube.

What stitch length do you use?

In free motion, the feed dogs are lowered and the darning foot is on the machine. There is no stitch length. You create the stitch length with your hand movements. Free- motion is very different to normal sewing.

They are out of stock at the moment. You can buy the design and trace it onto fabric. You can colour it or just use Sharpie outline and coloured threads.
