@Lars K. That's definitely not true- almost every negative comment I've read about Khabib had to do with him buddying up to Ramzan Kadyrov, the brutal Chechen dictator, which you did not mention. I laughed when Bas Rutten said stand-up comedy was the most nerve-wracking thing you do. I've done both MMA and stand-up comedy, and I found MMA much more nerve-wracking. In stand-up comedy, if you screw up you walk away a little embarrassed. In MMA, if you screw up, you can get a broken nose.

I think what they should do with weigh ins is to have them at the start of the fight. For every pound they are over give 10 percent of their purse to the opponent. Fighters will fight at their actual weights cause nobody will want to give money to their opponent and nobody will want to chug down much more than a 32 oz Gatorade right before a fight. Problem solved.
