This pilot displays some great skills! I love his turns when he is using the cenrifugal force to handle this bucket is such a smooth and controlled way. Thanks for the great video and the good camera job! It was a pleasure to watch this!!

Picking up new load and take-off's are amazingly fast! I'd not do that with my quad, with real load and real people onboard that is an indication of a routine. The groundie does his job quickly with a routine too, without him they'd never get that quick loadings. I've never seen that method before, copters are not used for fetilizers around here. That was different and very interesting!

few years time that'll be one man with a fully automated drone in the back of his truck and time to kill, and would also make a cool video

And a brave person just stood by the wagon waiting for a few hundred kilos of metal to come flying towards them. Must have had to have supreme confidence in the pilot.

2:35 You would think they would hang the bucket level under the copter.
@iforce2d7 жыл бұрын
6:32 I suppose they want it to be level in forward flight
@lasersbee7 жыл бұрын
It looks level when he's flying back empty at high speed but still looks off level when he is flying slow and spreading the product. Seems to work anyway.

"No fear!" That is for sure. I'm just wondering what are they spreading ? It wouldn't be common to use anything ecological in NZ :)

What are they doing? Killing some mosquitos or what? Maby it is a seed?
@antoniorsoftware7 жыл бұрын
It's "urea", a type of nitrogen fertilizer, check at 4:55.

Looks about as precise as dispersing Donnie's ashes; kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWXdiIuqmpxmY80 All that piloting precision and the wash from a 2-ton heli blows the payload anywhere other than where you were trying to put it. This is why we need drones for agriculture!

I was kinda expecting this comment... the stuff you see blowing sideways is just a little dust from the pellets rubbing on each other. If it was that useless nobody would pay for this service :) The actual stuff they are dropping is not affected by the wind as much, but is quite hard to see. Look closer at the left side of the screen at 1:36. Just at a guess, by the time it reaches the ground I'd say he's getting around 100m or so width per pass.
