In the last installment of my helicopter flight training VLOG, Lester and I look back at the trials and tribulations of the 13 months it took me to get my Helicopter Private Pilot Add On Certificate in the Robinson R-22 and R-44.

This final chapter was not only Bitter Sweet for you Mover, but also for me and all your followers. Lester was limited in conversation during all the flying instruction which showed how professional he is. He really shined on this video with his comments, emotions, and humor, that brought out his humbleness as well. These Vlogs were great and will be missed. (Bill from Slidell)

Thanks for takin us along Mover... wonderful series with the hi and low of your journey. A wonderful instructor in Lester made the journey fun but serious along the way. You have the chops to fly anything once you understand it... impressive. Thank you for your service, your ongoing service with the sheriffs dept and your personal pride in always learning and improving your flying... you exhibited your own advice along the way... make 'em tell you no. Congrats and all the best. Look forward to the next chapter. 🐶

I looked forward to the series every time a new video came out I have learned so much about flying a helicopter; its complicated but doable. Mover was a great student because he understands the concept of flight already. My cousins husband flew the Apache and I asked him how the best way to start learning he told me study aerodynamics. Mover gets that and watching was exciting because I could focus on the flight instead of the background radio transmissions etc. You will have to have Lester on once in a while for a checkin or part of a new series…

Awesome Video as always Mover, Big congrats on passing, Lester is a character alright. Feel like "This is the End" by The Doors should have been playing in the background.

Lester presents himself as the fun loving grandpa you always want to be around. I fully enjoyed the series and hopefully we will see Lester more in future video's. He's also the kind of instructor I would love to have teaching me. Could be any skill, his teaching style speaks volumes. Oh and Mover...DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP over micro issues like landing's/takeoffs. You already proved to everyone your one hell of a pilot. Keep up the great work you two!!!

I have learned as much watching Lester in these Vlogs as I have from any instructor. If it didn't involve commuting from South Florida, I would jump at the chance to take lessons from him. Honestly I would still consider it because there is something to be said about an instructor that truly cares about you as a person. There are way too many CFIs just going through the motions and dragging you through to your check ride and not nearly enough that care about developing you as both a person and pilot. The world needs a thousand more Lesters but we're going to have to make due with the one we've got.

Can’t help but feel a little proud for you, Mover! It was a LOT of fun getting to tag along with you throughout your training. Lester is EXACTLY the type of guy (from what I can tell from these videos anyway) that I’d want instructing me or anyone in my circle. Super sharp, knows his craft & his aircraft, and he seems to have a really good way of relating technical information to you. Jargon but without what he’s saying turning into jargonese. He reminds me a lot of my Dad. Confident, but he’d likely never ‘big time’ someone unless they really deserved it. Not meaning to rave on Lester, but he really did impress me. You’ve caused the nagging itch I’ve had for years to erupt again. If I were in a place in my life where I could get trained and still have enough opportunity to maintain my currency - I think I’d sign up somewhere and see where it could go. Maybe someday. Thanks again, Mover. I really did enjoy this. 👏🏼🇺🇸
