I use mine as a bino bag. Really like it for that.

A feature HT seem to stick to on all bags (?) is the snap buckles for the strap are really good for one thing: snap on or off shoulder strap. IF they had used one male and one female buckle on bag/strap one could snap off strap and use strap as a sling, and snap remaining parts on bag shut for a handle or snap item onto larger bag or waist belt.

Nice bag. The slip pocket for a axe etc. Is an awesome addition. Some thought put into this.....great review as always

Figuring you might have already figured this out but what what you referred to as belt loops in the video are actually the straps used to attach the kitbag to the webbing on a pack and such by weaving it between the webbing on the pack and that on the bag. Mine holds a Pathfinder bottle, cup, Firebox Nano, Trangia burner and more, all on the side of a Vanquest Ibex 35, with ease over hard country.

Hmmm, this size of bag is close to the some of the surplus gasmask bags so I suppose it comes down to how often you use this size. If you use it a lot, maybe worth it, if not so much, maybe not.

Great piece of kit. I've had one in 'adaptive green' for a while. Did you know that if you take the shoulder strap off, the remaining buckles can be tucked into 'pockets' next to them on the pouch, streamlining it? Helikon Tex are doing some great kit at the moment. I use theur Swagman roll as an under quilt on my hammock set up amongst other things. Really enjoy your vids, all the best from the U.K.

cool score. would too much area be displaced by a Nalgene bottle and camp cup to slide items in the container pocket? thanks for sharing.

I seriously considered one of these before I ordered my Mother carrier last winter, and this makes me think I might still grab one as a secondary, or even for my LUMIX G85.

I got three to hang on my phone rairy belt along with their first aid pouch. as ND I got the cool camo that they were going to discontinue. I can put a sleep system in one. a cook system in another and camera stuff in another.

I think I'd own one of these if they'd put molle on the bottom. I'm not making a mini kit bag without bringing my poncho or a small tarp, and that's the best way to lash it on. I think that's where the Mother wins.

I seriously dig this product! I'd pair it up with The Hidden woodsmen Haversack. Sadly the crooks at Amazon Canada want 140.00 CAD for this Item. And I didn't see them on eBay.. Thanks Wendell

What's the height of those side pockets? Seems perfect, and has been sitting on my list for a while now, but I'm wondering about fitting a water purifier (Auquamira Frontier Max) into the side there.
