Yes, it comes RTF and a test flight will be made before shipment. Basically, you just need to charge the battery, then you can fly it immediately. :)

If you buy RTF version, the transmitter comes with default setting for that model. But if you want to use this transmitter for another new model, you need to input the setting by yourself.

Also, for 10 channel system, a lot of Planes and Boat modelers need it, for lights, chimney, smoke, landing gears and such...

seems like you played with this transmitter for a while.... lotssss of settings.... scary.. just starting on this hobby and likening it,.. when buying a new transmitter, do I need to program the stunts or does it come pre-program? nice vid some voice would have been nice along with it

I would HOPE the maximum range would be more than ONE football field or it's significantly LESS range than any of my 72 Mhz radios, and with them, I frequently had planes flying still under full control while over 1.5 MILES away from the transmitter. Verified by car & truck odometers when driving to retrieve planes after wind picked up too much to get back to flying field.

Just simply input the correct setting according to the model, then follow the normal binding procedure is fine. :)

Did you try to find it in here: walkera.com/en1/radio_soft.jsp The latest version is V0.6/0.2 but you need to open an account first.

Actually, it was 10 years ago, Walkera "WAS" a laughing stock. But they are now the largest RC heli maker in China, with a lot of resources on researching and developing new products, so let's put it this way, if they keep up the good work, I think they can really give something good to the RC Heli industry.
