Hell Divers Meta Logic Is Wrong

We've all seen the videos of creators saying, "this is the helldivers meta!" but today I'm going to attempt to make the argument that you shouldn't be using a one size fits all "meta" rather you should go at the game as a purpose built specialist.

I'm a long time warframe player, so your assertions regarding pellet spread on the breaker shotguns being actually useful traits is absolutely true. I am used to building around extremely specific quirks of different weapons (mostly for meme builds, but many times for serious builds) to be used in particular situations. I highly suggest watching some videos by @distant observer and @MrWarframeguy on their insane weapon builds to understand the thought process behind finding specific weapon quirks to make builds around. Those guys will take average weapons and make them start doing phone number damage by exploiting a particular unique mechanic they use. I'm honestly more surprised that someone like them hasn't already started cooking up something goofy in the lab yet for helldivers. The idea that the s&p breaker shotgun is discarded as trash because the single target damage isn't as good as the base breaker is insane to me. That doesn't really happen in Warframe, and warframe has a massively higher damage optimization pressure. High level enemies in WF essentially require extremely optimized builds working at the bleeding edge of what is possible to meaningfully damage them.
