I feel like its how echidna tries to tailor her self to each persons she encounters in the trials example of that is Subaru's first trial where echidna wore a school uniform to subarus liking down to the color of her panties and her changing her personality to seduce and make people agree of fall for her. Knowing that she has full control over the reality of the tea party and the trials it wouldn't be unlikely for her to change some of her features that be to better manipulate someone by showing a more soft and trustworthy face or make someone disgusted by her by making a more distorted face. White Fox usually animates 1-2 animes per year, so it makes no sense why they waited so long given how much content there is in the LN, and if this trend continues (and COVID gets worse...) we could see another 3-4 year delay again, which is why I really think another studio should take over at this point.

Is it that the emilia we see now is actually a rebirth of previous emilia? And when she dies, Geuse and Fortuna ressurrected her? That would explain how Minerva gave birth to Emilia. Or maybe, that Minerva didn't exactly die 400 years ago. We won't know 🤷🏻‍♂️

The witch cult worships the witches and it doesn't seems like regulus respects her despite being the witch of vainglory. It could possibly mean that pandora was not the witch of vainglory from the beginning but a worshipper of witch of vainglory. When pandora first made an appearance fortuna's reaction was filled with anger. It's possible that pandora killed emillia's mom and stole her witch factor. We've seen subaru being compatible with the witch factor of sloth after killing Betelgeuse so it might be possible to also steal a witch's witch factor and have access to it's authority. Think about it, the witches doesn't seem to have any history with pandora when they were alive.

I think it's so precious how despite how crazy she is, Elsa still HIGHLY values Mellie. She would've BEATEN garfiel had Mellie not called out for help and distracted her. I expected Elsa to be cold hearted and not gaf, but it was very "sweet" to see it's the opposite. I do think Elsa was "getting off" on her biting contest with Garfiel😂

I really felt Minerva is Emilia's mother, because Echidna calls her a witch's daughter despite being a witch herself. Echidna is closest to Minerva, and both Echidna and Minerva know Emilia's mother and Minerva's conversation with Emilia took a turn when she mentioned Fortuna. Minerva is also close to elfs, I know there's a time difference and I could be completely wrong.

The fights are not THAT awesome. It still has lot of cuts during the fight and change in scenes to other characters. It is just the first proper Re:zero fight. For example it's not like Kakashi vs obito fight where it's just a full fight.

AoT fights and lots of other action anime have better choreographed battle scenes than this. Honestly, Ram's confession seemed more disturbing and sad then heartfelt to me, because of the enormous Stockholm syndrome in play. And since I like Ram's character a lot, that hurt. It made me wish she manages to break off from him one day, rather then hope she will get with him in the end.
