Update 15 deploys a fresh experience to Hell Let Loose with Mortain, a new map for all modes! Created and refined with help from the community, Mortain sits in a shallow valley - where the US rallied against German troops amid Operation Lüttich. The battle took place in August 1944, in Normandy, France.
During Operation Lüttich the town was destroyed, left in ruins with only a few buildings standing - which features in Mortain.
Offering a plethora of notable locations - both historical and natural - Mortain features themes of contrasting areas throughout. Rock formations permeate the map alongside hilly areas of countryside and farmland.

TEAM 17 OR ANY BODY!! Please help me, Hell Let Loose isn’t working when I try and start it, it just keeps on saying “ A network error has occurred. Please try again.” I tried uninstalling it and that didn’t work but for some reason if I play the game on the cloud it works. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!

Hell Let Loose has no competitors right now so the developers can do anything they want with the game's marketing. Squad 44 was the last good WW2 Multiplayer game and the cinematic trailers showcased the harsh reality of the war. But we learned that very rarely do people care about the authenticity of video games but are more focused towards its gameplay. In this case Hell Let Loose is an arcadey game which most people prefer.

Some feedback: 1. Would be nice for the update trailer to actually show updated parts of the game. If it is the new map, highlight the most distinct of it's features, showcase the new vehicles, uniforms, something. Trailer might work for the newer audience, but as a veteran who did't really follow the dev blogs, I am kind of confused about what exactly was changed. 2. Some of the footage was clearly stuttering, this triggered my low-end-laptop PTSD. Smooth 60+ fps gameplay is much more appealing.

Things you should do to improve trailers: - Show the new map. Panoramic views, scenes, work your camera around an actual battle of at least more than 5 players... - Tell a story. What's the new map about. What happened there. Take one side's perspective and build a narrative thread to follow. - Emphasize new features with "moments". This just feels like random clips of a test server with 5 people in it put together. Framerate is all over the place. It's all FPS clips. Really, it's not that hard, just be creative and have fun ffs.

Can we discuss the performance issues visible in the trailer, specifically the framerate at 0:34, 0:39, and 0:53? It's incomprehensible to me how these clips made it into the trailer, especially after the trailer for Update 14 was received so poorly. I love this game, but I think I'll put it on hold until all the issues have been addressed and/or fixed.

I do think artillery needs to become mobile, but I don’t think it necessarily needs to be only mechanised. I’d like to also see towed artillery being moved around by driving a supply truck, and then being deployed (or reattached to the truck) by an engineer using resources. The new mechanic would be to locate and then destroy the enemy artillery (sometimes with counter-battery fire from your own artillery). This is an important tactic in real war, and it would be cool to see it replicated in the game.

Agreed. The original trailer that released a few years ago using this audio was very well put together and illustrated what the game was. Seems like whoever is editing these trailers is trying to re-create that original trailer and continues to fail miserably. Ever since Team17 took over the trailers have been absolute dog water.

The video was slowed down, but it also reduced the framerate of the game. So if you recorded the gameplay at 30fps and slow it down in post processing by 50%, it makes the game look like it's 15fps. There are numerous parts of this trailer that indicates sluggish performance. Also, "Update" trailers generally show what's new in the update. If you wanted to show off the map, it should've showed more zoomed out clips of what the map looks like, not ground level up close and personal shots which shows nothing about what the map is. Also, it should show off other things that came with the update besides just the new map. It's not a map trailer, it's an update 15 trailer. And lastly, the new map does seem to look too similar to all other maps in my opinion. It could be brought up to date a little more. The buildings look a bit cheap like they're from Arma 3. The lighting engine still needs work and the game still needs more performance optimizations. The lighting of this game still looks cheap as far as how lighting shines on buildings, how shadows are casted (or lack of shadows), atmospheric lighting, etc.. It's not modern at all. Gives Unreal Engine 2 or 3 vibes. I still appreciate the hard work that was put into it, don't get me wrong.

I think the trailer is perfekt for this game, it shows exactly what you get without all the marketing. low fps as seen in video, constant new bugs and old bugs taking years to get fixed (e.g. grenade bug). there is no server browser on console. game stutters, constant frame drops etc.. all in all a real messy game which will never be fixed. thank you for letting me pay for this.

well on this new map, FPS drops 2-3 times if any other map I have 50-60 then on this map 20-25 but if you are lucky and get rain on this map it will be a turn-based shooter with 10 FPS

Officers can build nodes. The stop watches build nodes which are spawn points for the fireteam. Officers can ask Commander for the goodies. Cool. Now check out this game. It's actually really good. I haven't crashed either. Idk what people are yapping about. 🤷‍♂️ Also. If you're new. Simply do not select snipers. You will most likely get kicked and probably Commander as well. Vets will boot you. Remember that. 😂

Bought the game, played it for months on Xbox Series S, now out of nowhere every time I try to join a game it says “connection to the server has been lost”, I’ve tried countless times to ask for assistance with this issue and I get the same old crap answers that don’t work every single time.
