Hello Cheers from USA you must heat headlight in oven at 200 degree F .. for like 10 min to soften seal then must use same sealant to install plastic lens. I have same color Crossfire as yours best of luck

one more thing be very careful because new these cost $1000 or more a piece new from Chrysler even used they are very hard to find and on Ebay $799 or less depends on vender

I admire your dedication, but you can get to both lower headlight bolts from the access door in your wheel well. If you want to get access to the left headlight, just crank your wheel all the way to the left, open the access panel with a large regular screwdriver, and thread your hand and wrist up to the headlight with your wrench. It's a bit tight, but can be done with an openend wrench you only get about a quarter of a turn with each twist and it's slow going, but 5x as faster then pulling off a bunch of stuff you dont need to pull off.

Dude you have more balls than I got... to replace one of these headlights is very expensive since there are no aftermarket headlights available like for the Ford Mustang. I also own a 2013 Ford Mustang and I find tons for aftermarket parts for the Mustang maybe China will get involved to build cheap knock offs if there is a market this car is to rare to get aftermarket parts. I give you tons of kudos on ingenuity to take the bull by the balls. cheers

I get my crossfire perhaps tomorrow depending on weather, I paid $1700 dollars for my car same color as yours. I look forward more off your crossfire videos

IKR! I was like holy shit! Would feel like butchering it! Parts are SO hard to find in my country (in 12 years of having one have only ever seen another two) would be too scared to try if I fucked it up!

Great job, my man. I sold my '05 Roadster 6 months ago. "Scarlett" is her name now. Nice lady in Louisiana bought her.

I'm tempted to try this but I'll chrome the light pods, satin black the holder and add LED running lights.
@russiaauto.travelvlog13027 жыл бұрын
Nice idea! Is satin means glossy? And what the holder is? As for me I like old lamps more than LED, next year I want to put orange DRL + turn signals instead hi-beam, and install bi-xenon projectors. But I still don't understand how to make turn signals work as DRL also. Have any idea?

@theoriginalmungaman4 жыл бұрын
You didn’t have to cut anything! You heat the light in an oven to soften the glue and they come right off!

1:21 "Blin" What does that mean? BTW it was hard to read, looks like it was only there for 1/8 of a second.
@russiaauto.travelvlog13027 жыл бұрын
haha)) Blin translates exactly as a pancake. We use it as very very soft F-word. As soft as you even can use it in community:)

Russia Auto.travel vlog I know these Chrysler crossfire's get moisture in the headlights even when stock. Have you had any moisture issues fogging in the headlights since you put these HIDs in? I'm concerned that if I cut open the plastic it's going to cause moisture to get in there even more than it already does
@russiaauto.travelvlog13027 жыл бұрын
I never had moisture before in stock headlights, but after I cutted them, left one is still ok, and right one has not even moisture, not just foggin, but almost waterdrops now. But my friend also, made same thing with headlights several times and he covered seam with nice thick layer of silicon, and he told me that everythig is perfetto, no moisture at all. So don't worry about that if you have enough of glue))

Why? Why do you have to *BLAST THE MUSIC SO LOUD?*
@jujuju33844 жыл бұрын
Every designer should be made to change the headlight! And punched in the face for every 5 minutes it takes! Perhaps they would make it more simple/straightforward ! And don't get me started on changing bulbs!!
