The quote "I wanna know what the fuck you're doing with my time!" is probably top 5 most badass villain lines.

Joe Pilato was fantastic as Captain Rhodes, a guy that made sense in the dark world he was in, & I'm gutted that he never had a good career even in B-movies or low-budget horror. Can't believe Joe wasn't snapped up by the horror genre??? Major missed opportunity RIP to one of the greats 👍

Seriously he should've gotten more roles but I think actors like him,Sid Haig,Bill Moseley and Gary K had great shining moments to where they became iconic in their own way. I was born in 96 and I still appreciate these types of gems. I'm glad I got to see this, I smiled the whole time.

Mr mercer i was 14 years old when i first saw joe pilato in day of the dead and i remember always waiting to see him in other movies as a villain etc and it didnt happen. I guess its one of lifes mysteries to why he was not a bigger actor. It was nice to hear him talk about how it didnt happen for him. Anyway Rip joe you are a legend💚

@@paulbirkbeck1790 Yes he almost broke one loose when Quentin Tarantino was ready to write an entire movie for Joe! I can just imagine the first time these two met, it must have been electric; Joe was born to make a QT film! Hell, he damn near WAS a QT film in real life. Anyway, we are all blessed who knew Joe or appreciated his work. I agree, it's odd he never became bigger. Thanks for the note!

@@DustinMercer We, his Pittsburgh Friends just couldn’t wrap our heads around ( no pun intended) the fact that Joe wasn’t making it big in Hollywood. He was a big fish in a small pond in Pgh., working constantly, with a cult following, but became a little fish in a big pond, out there. We saw him play a security guard on one of the soaps, just a cameo appearance, and we wrote letters- Who was that Guy, and we wanted to see MORE of HIM! He was even pals with Dennis Miller- I used to see them together at The Portfolio. Shame they let him slip thru the cracks, maybe he was just too decent a person for LaLa Land?

@@keywestcatlady Ah, the Portfolio! Yes I remember seeing that "crazy new kid" Dennis Miller there, too. (And still trying to forget my set there). Thanks for sharing, Jan. We're lucky to have had a front row seat in the 80's (and still live to talk about it). I did a fun spot in L.A. with Joe and Lorenzo Music (creator of Bob Newhart Show, voice of Garfield, Carlin, "Your Doorman"). Joe was the perfect straight man for Lorenzo. Glad we have our memories. Thanks again, Joe - wherever you are.

@@DustinMercer Yea, he was One-of-a-Kind! I remember he came as a “ sperm donor,” to a Halloween Party, all dresses in a white hazmat suit with pvc pipe coming out the back with a small bucket attached, “back in the day!”

It's sad because you can see how desperate he was to get work, and yet he wasn't getting any.
