I am brand new to firearms and wish I had started a long time ago because gling to the range is the best therapy I have ever tried. Being able to experience You and Tré's Glocks gave me insight as to what a real gun feels like. I enjoyed having a go with these prices. I never shot a gun that was this nice. Thanks bud! Hope to learn alot more.

Like the Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro better, especially if you get the Gear Up Package Hellcat Pro has five more rounds than the Glock 43X. My Gear Up Package came with 4-17 round magazine, 1-15 round magazine and a green dot optic. What I don't like about the Hellcat Pro? The trigger and U- notch rear sight. I like the Glock 43X but if I had to choose one? Would be the Hellcat Pro because it's higher capacity and feels better in my hand. Glock was the first company to offer subcompact handguns in 1996. Got to give credit to Glock, they shook up the firearm industry more than once.

2 things, clips are not magazines and the flashlight actually does help in balance of the gun and thus helps you in recoil on small guns. So the flashlight will helping you in hitting the target.

Coming from a state that only allows a capacity of 10 rounds, what are your thoughts comparing the Hellcat Pro vs Glock 43x? If you had to choose one, which one in your opinion would be the winner?
@axe5.911 ай бұрын
Great question! Due to limits on capacity the correct answer would be 43x. However, I am in Texas so thankfully I do not have that issue. In paper the hellcat pro is by far better due to having more stuff out the box. But if you plan on upgrading anyways the Glock is easier to modify/upgrade since they have a wider range of options in the market. Me personally I will chose the 43x. I wouldn’t shy away from the hellcat pro though. Best advice I can give is go to the range and shoot both and see what feels better to you and what you’re more accurate with.

I have the G48 with shield arms magwell and a comp. I also have the HC Pro. No magwell or comp. I admit that I was able to shoot the Glock way better. But, after practicing with the hellcat for a few months, I’m much better with the hellcat. I would like to get a magwell for the hellcat.

I’ve compared the 43X, Hellcat pro, Hellcat RDP…hellcat rdp has far less recoil out of all of them…the micro compensator makes a big difference-especially with defensive ammo…I found the Hellcat pro to have less recoil than the 43X-the reason I believe you may feel more recoil in your test is because of the flashlight.

The cousin in the grey hoodie is building a terrible habit of looking over his gun after he fires to see where the round went. With a dot, just keep sighted in.
@axe5.910 ай бұрын
I think the main reason he did this was because he had just zeroed the gun in and was adjusting to the different reticles he had. I believe at the end he used the reticle with the small dot and the circle. Good eye though!
@jreynolds3885 ай бұрын
With practice and irons, you see your sights and target when trigger breaks . So, there is no need to look once your shot breaks if you're sighted in. If you develop flinch and we all do , you'll stop seeing you shots. It's more difficult w snappy gun. However.

If Glock ever comes out with 15 rd factory magazines this would be a much more serious comparison. I own both. The Pro has better grip stippling, grip angle, sights, and trigger. The 43x feels more compact and rounded on the grip edges, and shoots fantastic. What separates the two, by miles in my opinion, is the factory mag capacity. 15 reliable rounds vs 10 reliable rounds or 15 “work most of the time” rounds? No contest. For an edc, round count and reliability absolutely matter. Hellcat pro walks away with the trophy here.
@axe5.911 ай бұрын
I agree, on paper hellcat wins day and night. You also have to keep in mind most people that buy these guns are first time shooters. They might not have a lot of experience so they will tend to go with a gun that shoots flatter. Overall the hellcat is a great gun but I think this is why it’s a deal breaker for most since it has so much kick compared to the 43x. Also, most people do not modify there edc and some don’t mind the 10 round count all it takes is 1 good shot so at the end it’s personal preference but both guns are great choice for edc!!
@woodystube100011 ай бұрын
@@axe5.9 I agree, the Pro does win on paper..and steel. (Kidding) These always boil down to personal preference, but I would not hesitate to recommend a Hellcat Pro to a new shooter even if they perceive it to be snappier. If a person has chosen to make the financial commitment of purchasing a gun, I strongly recommend they make the time commitment to practice with it and learn how to shoot it well before carrying it in a defensive capacity. If they only intend to use it for shooting at cans in the desert, magazine capacity is irrelevant.
@axe5.911 ай бұрын
@@woodystube1000 oh yeah, completely agree with you if people want something already good out of the box with no modifying then I will definitely recommend the hellcat pro but if they’re looking for something less snappy then of course of 43X. but like you mentioned you do have to practice with this gun, no matter what gun you choose. You have to put it through the ringer you have to know your gun inside and out
@YeboSa11 ай бұрын
I agree, my first gun was the hellcat, loved it and still miss it but it kicked like an angry 🐴 so I got the 43x but the grip feels like I am holding a broom. Thinking about trying the shield plus.
@woodystube100011 ай бұрын
@@YeboSa I get it, but the Hellcat is a different gun than the Hellcat Pro. The Pro has a longer barrel and slide, and has more grip to hold onto. P365 was the first of the high capacity magazine micro compacts and Hellcat was Springfield’s response. The Pro, 43x, and P365Xl all represent slightly larger “micros” for better recoil management and higher capacity in a carry gun.
@todoubled797011 ай бұрын
Fair comparison. It sounds like if you spent more time with the Hellcat and modified to the way you like it, I believe you’d choose the Hellcat over the Glock. Basically, like you said, they are so close in comparison that whichever a person decides to buy, they’re going to have a great firearm.

@@axe5.9 a lot of what was said in the video. It comes standard with OEM 15 and 17 round magazines. No need for third party mags and mag catches. It comes standard with good steel sights (the front veing a tritium night sight.) As per the video, it has a better trigger. It has better erginomics (grip texture, grip angle.) Also, I like the idea if a carry gun that has a manual safety. There is a version of yet HCP that has that. Is that enough?
@axe5.9 Жыл бұрын
@@bbmw9029 sure, but you also have to keep in mind that I made it to what it is now because I wanted these things. If you also check statistics the Glock 43x was the most bought gun for concealed carry. It will most likely be 2024 most bought gun as well. Reason on why, the gun is a Glock, glocks just work and the simplicity of them as well. I compare Glock like iPhone it’s simple to use and anyone that picks one up will know how to use and take it apart. I get the hellcat PRO comes with more bells and whistles which is nice but in reality when you think of guns someone that isn’t educated the first thing they think of will most likely be Glock. Again this isn’t no hate towards the hellcat I enjoyed the gun but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Yes my gun did have a stove pipe which can happen to any gun at anytime. You also have to keep in mind that IF you wanted to customize your gun Glock will always have a BIGGER VARIETY of stuff. But if we compare stock to stock then yes the hellcat does win in several things! 👍
